The best part about having a magnetic progenitor bonus for Lich weapons is that it works really well for hunter Munitions and heat/electricity/slash status setups, ensuring that your dot procs deal just as good of damage against shields as they would health on a viral setup
I went for this yesterday and managed to get a 52% magnetic sister WITH the ephemera. I had gone 15 liches without any ephemera before that, so safe to say I was pretty happy
@@phyrwf so it’s been so long since I had a lich with an ephemera I thought if I killed it I would get the weapon and not the ephemera, and I forgot if you convert you don’t get the weapon. I converted her for the ephemera and was heartbroken not seeing the weapon too, but managed to sell the sister for 250p and rolled a 40% magnetic afterwards so I guess it worked out lol
I still think magnetic is the best for sure as you can deal with shields in corrupted or fissure missions without having to build for pure toxin, as that tends to fuck up your damage vs armored units. However, i likely will eventually get a second kuva sobek and tenet glaxion with a different element than magnetic for when the augment comes out as currently i can fit viral and heat just fine with no issues while also having magnetic (so 4 elements for condition overload with HM) but the augment will have to replace something. I'll likely go with a heat glaxion so i can have viral heat still and save that third mod slot for the augment. It really depends, energy regen is neat but i don't actually need it lol.
@@Jefffrrry It's hard, really hard, I have a cold progenitor glaxion and heat will always combine first with ANY element, if I had a toxin one it would be the same, electric (haven't checked but probably the same) and heat just makes blast and I think it will lock you out of heat completely, it needs a lot, and I mean A LOT of investment for it to work with heat, even the torrid (with innate toxin) needs less work for it, it's kind of sad tbh
@@JotaPS88 Yeah, I personally run Corr + Heat Torid. Might not be the strongest possible Torid build, but it works well. That is possible because of the innate Toxin. However I have no idea how to have solo Heat on an innate Cold weapon without it combining into something dumb.
@@Jefffrrry my torid is a corrosive+cold (hoping for cold to be better after the rework) but I also have a corrosive+heat config, and for the glaxion, it's hard, in mine (cold progenitor) I have to use a toxin mod (or whatever element that is not heat) a cold mod and then I can add heat, that is 3 mod slots that I could use for more status for aptitude, some QoL stuff (more fire rate or faster reload) or more damage (hammer shot) right now it's a strong weapon with sadly, stronger competition, hopefully after the rework it will get better without bringing any other gun down

Radiation is also a combined element and has much better utility than magnetic against most enemies players generally care about, so I would heavily consider that as the progenitor. Albeit, magnetic is a consideration if you planned to have a build modded with radiation for an extra galvanized stack.
I explained it in the video but rememember there is a +radiation mod in the game... not to mention if ou want maximum procs manifold bond will be modded with radiation. Magnetic is best here
Impact progenitor will let you run Internal Bleeding, basically a status Hunter Munition, Impact+Cold is pretty good CC, and you could also double this as a support weapon when players get access to the new Glaxion mod in Nightwave that lets it generate energy.
"A normal sobek is better for acid shells" is craaazy, technically you're not wrong but only if you have the riven for that exactly, and the difference is like a few percent. You could easily make that cold, magnetic, corrosive, radiation, and viral(with nourish) just by adding one mod. You can technically make that hit harder by not modding crit damage, as you'll be getting crit from cold procs.
Impact glaxion has funny crowd control and gives me instant parason kills on eximus without overguard. I never noticed it but the enemy health bar has a golden slider that shows how soon you can parason them.
my main issue with the torid is that if you dont have a full charge when you start attacking a gruzzling, its a bitch and a half to actually kill it, so this might be a my new go to murmur disruption primary. i still think that a radiation progenitor is better, since magnetic only effects enemies with shields, and if you are going up against corpus you may as well just use pure toxin.

Is frostbite better than merciless?
torid and glaxion are the only 2 guns you need in this game.
Well isnt radiation just as good? It wont combine into anything just like Magnetic wont.
I got it 2nd try 53% magnetic
Kuva Kohm is way better than Kuva Sobek because of the Slash.
kuva sobek is sad
what if i dont have primed shred?
normal shred would suffice.
OMG You killed Big Hug! How could you?
Tenet tetra kinda Flys under the radar it's base damage is soo high
300k plat? how is this possible wtf.

Went with radiation.
1st! 🎉 Ty Gaz!

i got 60% magnetic :)
2:22 got my first glaxion with 60%😂 luck
Cap
BIGG HUGG LMAO :D:D:D
Atleast he didnt rename glaxion to bigg adigg
60% impact and make it a energy machine
But knightmare said It was bad 🤓
Is there any point in grinding for this? DE is just going to end up nerfing it.
doubt they will nerf it but ill be sure to report if that happens
@@GazTTV if anything it needs a better riven dispo imo. Torid is three times better yet it gets away with a better riv dispo and stats? lol wut
tenet glaxion looks like amprex 2.0 ...
Until it gets nerffed to the ground like every good thing in warframe
Like he said in the video, it’s worse than the Torid incarnon and that’s gone un-nerfed for awhile, so I think this should be safe
I still can't believe that de instead of updating the ai, is just making enemies even tankier. Makes no damn sense, smh
This was a comment that was wrong, so it is now changed. You shall never know what it originally was. 👀
I literally show it getting 8 enemies in the first minute of the video
@@GazTTVI watched it back like 90 times and you didn't show it very well, though after thorough testing it would seem you are right. Though unlike dual toxo, it seems there is a hard cap of 2 chains, so you were right about 8 enemies being hit. The reason I said it wasn't true is because I spent an hour testing it and it would not chain to more enemies, but now it seems to work, though sometimes not as well. Idk if my name is dumb or I'm schizo, probably both, but still interesting nonetheless.
I apologize for the incorrect statement my good sir, I shall edit the comment so as to not mess with other people.
