So listen, I'm a fan of the chaining beam weapons, but can't they come up with more unique effects other than chaining, we have so many variants of this now. Maybe, headshots with the beam charge a pulsing explosion after 8 hits or something, or the latter half of the magazine deals an extra status or has increased bullet size and fire rate. Just something different you know?
Or similarly to the Ocucor, after every kill, instead of a homing beam, it creates a fixed beam aimed at the next closest enemy that doesn't lock on to enemies so wherever you turn, this extra beam would be stuck at a 15° angle to the original beam.
I actually really enjoyed the 3 meter damaging ball the glaxion vandal had, it felt really different being able to aim it at a tight crowd and get some AOE damage. It's a real shame it got axed for the same chain gimmick again

You'll have the choice between magnetic/toxin (then why not pick magnetic progenitor) or blast/toxin (but blast is useless atm) - if you want rad damage on your weapon, you'll get more from modded rad than progenitor rad even with only radiated reload, at a cost of a mod slot (or two if you decided to got elec heat) But in the end doesn't really matter, changing element is relatively easy and everything may change with jade update.
We know that some changes are the cold procs which those are not bad, explosion and magnetic we still don't know much about it, may be this month in a devstream we will know more about that with the Jade update?
I actually cant wait for cold changes, i'm so using this as a freeze ray with frost and his augment when this thing can also trigger "frozen" conditions. I'll use pure cold to prepare for it I think. Spawned a Toxic Sister with this, so slowly working through bringing her down. Wondering how an Impact/Internal Bleeding variant would work
Probably not great as impact would only be at maximum 60% of the original dmg, making it lower than the cold, and also lower than any other elements you put on it.
I got a 55 percent toxin
i think ice is going to be meta
Basically torid but cold ?
Every beam weapon isn’t torid this is more like amprex but cold
@@BoochieKatt yeah my bad I forgot about amprex
@@BoochieKatt but doesn't amprex focus on raw damage to kill because then it would make the torid closer to the tenet glaxion than the amprex is
@@b3njamindupuy587 glaxion is THE raw damage beam weapon due to it being cold which makes your raw damage better because of the crit damage bonus
@@BoochieKatt but doesn't most of the damage come from slash procs ?
Or am I just misunderstanding how the weapon should be played ?
Lets go
Got mine with 59% toxic 🤤
Why do people get those weapons THAT quickly? I know is possible, but is insane.
At least for Leyzar it make sense since he's a content creator and the fresher the content the better for viewer attention. But I saw 2 guys, one with a T Glaxion and the other with a K Sobek. I doubt they were content creators.
Lich weapons have an internal cycle. If you get a lich ready and do not kill it then extract. The weapon it would've had gets sent to the bottom of the cycle. If you go through all the possible weapons apart from 1 you guarantee that the next time you have a lich it will have the new lich weapon.
They probably prepped before the update buy cycling through the lich weapons so they would get the 1 they wanted first try then they probably got lucky with the second
I got 2 kuva sobeks today, no prepping or anything. It doesn't take as long as you would expect to roll the right weapon and i used a ultimatum and oull on one but admittedly I did spend a long time playing today. I do it just because I long min maxing my builds and am interested in what the kuva sobek will do with my saryn setup
I farmed both weapons today, it took like two and a half hours
It only take at max 2 hours to get a lich done, with enough optimization like the guy above me you can get 1 in a hour.
