    Focaccia bread recipe
    Ingredients:
    2 cups lukewarm water
    2 teaspoons active dry yeast
    2 tablespoons honey
    4 cups bread flour
    Salt
Combine water, yeast and honey. Let sit 5-10 minutes or until foamy
    Add to flour/salt mix
Stir, coat dough with olive oil, cover 3 hours
Oil your hands and pick up each quarter of dough and fold inward. Rotate bowl as you fold dough inward.
Cover for 15 minutes and turn dough again.
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the baking sheet. Spread dough onto baking sheet. Proof until double in size (45 minutes to hour)
Add more oil and dimple with fingers. Add herbs
Cook preheated oven at 425 F for 18-22 minutes
HOW TO TELL IF FOCACCIA IS OVERPROOFED?
If it springs back quickly, it's underproofed, and if it doesn't spring back at all, it's overproofed.
To make a focaccia bread art:
Follow the recipe through the step in which you dimple the dough just before baking. Arrange your toppings - sliced peppers, asparagus, scallions, olives, tomatoes, onions, etc. - over top and dimple again, pressing the ingredients into the dough to embed them - you can be more aggressive than you think.
Brush the entire surface with olive oil; then sprinkle with sea salt.
Bake 425 F for 25 minutes or until 190+ internal temperature. Immediately remove from the baking pan and cool on a wire rack.

That video was mouth watering and I just love bread however I recently discovered that I am allergic to yeast. Can you do a video of some kind of bread that does not have yeast?

@@amyhanneman6320 Thanks for watching. I will be making a video soon for “emergency bread” that uses baking powder instead of yeast for the leavening. But until then, here is a quick video for Popovers. This should satisfy your craving. Classic Popovers made easy!
