If you want a solid fence use galvanized screws that hold tight and won’t rust and bleed on the fence paint/coating. Additionally, any wooden fence should have cemented posts and should be coated twice with sealant. At the base of each post the oil based sealant should be mixed with termite control product.
Maybe the ghost could be an Uncle Sam for the 4th of July. Or painted blue and white for sky and clouds and the strip across the top could be painted birds for summer. Add a couple potted plants at the bottom and it would be so so cute.
