Castle Crashers Remastered - Back Off Barbarian - "The Final Countdown" achievement

"Back Off Barbarian" is a multiplayer game mode in the Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions. You have to avoid the enemies by moving around the board. To move, press the face button that corresponds to the color tile you want to move to or the direction on the left stick/D-pad in the direction the arrow is facing. The achievement is for someone in your group surviving until 2 minutes and 30 seconds have passed.
There's no real strategy. The best way to avoid the enemies is by rotating the left stick to stay on the move. Probably the worst part is the auto-kill feature that activates when there's only one person remaining. If you don't pick up a potion to revive another player within 15 seconds, the match ends. I don't see how this was a good idea.
