It's really easy with that character especially. Fencer/Industrialist are the two best in the game and their magic tears through bosses and a fair amount of enemies.
I remember I did this not because I tried to skip, but because I saw that X on the ground and was trying to dig it right there LMFAO I'm still not sure till this day if there's anything there at all
There is, it's a (kinda mid) secret weapon, the rubber sword. It's actually really easy to get on solo, all you have to do is hold the shield and go below the thief. Then, slowly go up with your shield on, until you get hit, then find the closest spot to the X without you being hit, and then dig.
Lore the orange princes will go after you and be the real last boss of the game and be two times harder than this necromancer double the heal with four waves of enemy's (joke)

he had max speed, so he had mad achery skills. THEIR ENEMIES SHALL NEVER TOUCH THE GROUND AGAIN
yeah, you actually don't have to kiss the Orange Princess at all, you can exit to the map as soon as the credits start

Yeah there is you just come from below and dig it up so he doesn't hit you or if in coop get someone to block him and u can dig
