Quick and easy tutorial 😊
I hope it was informative
Great video
Thank you!
Good to know, thanks! I use Windows, but often Apple people ask me about how it works there.
Thanks for the feedback
Works for grading log but not for shots that are already 709. I had my settings how I wanted but my drone shots were still messed up because dlog-M is 709, not LOG.
If you import a new 709 video to your timeline you'll see it doesn't look the same as the file on your mac
So let me see if I understand what you are saying, you shot a video in regular picture profile? And you’ll like to edit it?
What’s the difference between rec 709A and rec 709 (scene)?
Great question: Rec 709 (Scene) mostly Adheres strictly to the Rec. 709 standard. Oftentimes can sometimes cause gamma shifts on macOS systems, leading to color inaccuracies. I that was one of the issues I was having.
And Rec 709-A solve those issues, with more consistency, and helps to avoid gamma shift issues and ensure consistent color appearance and accuracy. Hope that helps.
@ definitely does help thank u. I use both Mac and windows so I’ll give the rec 709A a shot
@Mjbentertainment86 nice! How did it turn out?
@ haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet but I will let u know when I do.
@ thank you!

So I take it that you shot this in Log?
That’s correct, I actually just started using S-Log for Sony
this is only for mac users
Are you a windows user? If so, can share any information?
@AndreMorganPhotography yes, this is a common issue with Mac users because Apple is using it's own colour space, actually windows users don't have this issue, they can export the footage to rec 709 and watch it as it should be
@asvestomixZ that’s awesome! Thanks for sharing
