Why am I just discovering Paulette and Highway 101? I played country music with my family band in all the places she mentioned where she lived in Alaska plus military bases - you name it, we played it. My sister played drums with many country music giants, toured the world and lived to talk about it. It's not an easy business to make an easy living but I respect talent when I hear it and there is a lot of talent with Paulette and her former band mates. Having my own family band now, we are learning some of their songs - talk about true country music. Best of luck Paulette, especially living in Alaska. It was the best decision I ever made - Alaska my rear view mirror - the last frontier all right - OMG. Thanks for the music though.
Great woman, always seems to be in a good mood, voice unique and always well dressed. It's really a pleasure to watch videos from her live performances. Greetings from Germany.
Paulette could write a song about how men and women alike follow a spouse and might think we've been everywhere man but the reality is when we do this one of us leaves ourself behind. Which is what happened to Mrs. What's her name?
@@keithkimmeysr953 Either a man or a woman often leaves their own life behind to follow a more successful significant other and where his or her career takes them both. It is not unusual that the relationship then comes to an end and the one who followed the other is left with a lot of ground to catch up on to try to rebuild the life they left behind. I am referring mostly to one's career. Usually trying to pick up those pieces left behind does not happen which is why there are so many bartenders.
