My man! Ukraine will need a minimum of 400-500 thousand fully armed soldiers, along with 1000 tanks, 600+ APCs, IFVs, and armored cars. Not to mention the aircraft and helicopters, the number of which must be above 300 units, and once again that's just a minimum, not a standard for conducting defense operations against a very large, well-trained, and fully armed enemy.

Medvedev on the other hand *IS* emotional.
Both men could possibly have achieved the same thing, Medvedev much quicker than Putin.
But in all likely hood, Medvedev would of had to have fought WW3 to achieve it...
@branimirbutkovic9424 what are you guys talking about Putin is more dangerous because he is more intelligent therefore he is more cautious when making a move. Being to aggressive may cause instability domestically and internationally.

Personally I think Russia is using this sumy region offensive idea as a ruse. They might strike somewhere else while Ukrainians look for them in sumy.
Considering that Ukraine has access to NATO satellites and intelligence I wonder if that's even possible, the Ukrainians would know where the Russians are amassing. Then again there's the possibility that they're using that to their advantage, station a lot of troops in a few areas to make Ukraine thin out the lines more, and then attack the weakened areas while bombarding the heavily stationed areas to keep them pinned down

@@easternfrontagain yes exactly. And Ukraine's defenses are cracking in many places in the already established front. There is no need except to create a buffer zone, for this sumy operation. If Russia does exactly as I predict it may just cut through Ukrainian defense at some vulnerable point and swallow swathes of territory with ease

My local Army Reserve unit has more vehicles than that. Well, they used to until they all got sent to Ukraine.

My god the worst part is how close all the vehicles are to each other they are basically asking to be hit being out in the open.
At that distance the only weapons that can hit them are missiles or drones.
Drones are vulnerable to even basic anti air and so probably wont be effective.
missiles are just to expensive to use on a few humvees.

Russia can and is mixing and matching diversions with actual offensives at will depending on circumstances. Ukraine is stuck with an endless losing game of whack-a-mole.

Ukraine's Army and equipment inventory has never been smaller in it's history. I'd be surprised if the present force is a third what it was in 2022.

Why Russian s are forcing this Slavicide is a mystery.
I think there is a great chance for misinterpretation on this. Those are not endless waves of forces what we see, but a normal batallion sized transfer. Most likely a territorial regiment, they don't have many tanks at all, maybe a couple.
