    I love her expression when they accidentaly complete the slogan:
    "Nike, no games...
    "... Just sports" Yes!! That's it!!

    This movie is a photography of the values and perceptions of men around women even though when they think they're onto something... great illustration

    The “no games just sports” line is pretty good. They actually did come up with it together even tho he cheated a tad. She was listing and he picked out games. Then she said games and rules games and….and then he said sports. She finalized it to no games just sports. They would have made a good team if she didn’t fire him 😂

    Just saw this movie today..
    I am not a typical feminist director movies fan(like Ghostbusters 2016...)
    But this movie was really good and it was certainly ahead of its time...
    Made me have empathy for women in so many situations I didn't even know they faced...
    And that final scene where he meets Erin😭
    this movie was really good,playful and showed how women wanted to be perceived by the world....
    They really want to be judged less and rarely get praised for the hard things they do...
    Women really do so many things and expect so little..
    If you are a woman reading this, Remember you are Awesome 😎

      This movie was blasted as chauvinist back in 2001 when it was first released. Nancy Meyers has a crazy career as being probably the most successful writer/director woman in Hollywood, self proclaimed feminist but yet has always received critics for their chauvinist themes on her screenplays.
      So, I dunno.

    This scene is very underrated. It shows that, just like in LIFE, men and women can achieve anything when they work TOGETHER, not COMPETING with each other by themselves, which is what the Left Strategy is entirely based on, social class war, gender war, sexual preference war, racial war, basically anything that seperates people from one another and leaves them dependent on the Almighty State.

      Oh, that's a LEFT strategy, eh? So the Republicans, especially in the Trump era, don't pray on societal differences and drive divisiveness to pit people against each other, all to "Make America Great Again". Yeah, it's just a LEFT issue, huh? That's so short-sighted it's laughable. What a hyocritical comment you made man--crying about being divided while uttering divisive statements. Real piece of work here.

    • @MrFtge
      @MrFtge Рік тому

      The Right strategy would not have a woman with authority in the workplace period lmao she'd be barefoot in the kitchen and pumping out babies. A woman in the office is a victory for the Left strategy, a right winger agreeing with it shows that the Left has already won

    A director who just so happens to be a woman could direct a movie back then and it wouldn't be a big deal. Today it would upset the incels or be full of woke bullshit the radical feminists want now. I wish we can have that today. Just a light-hearted movie with a good message.
    Today it's either the women with unreasonable hatred towards men or vice versa, hardly anyone in between. I know the men and women who aren't complete loons exist, but the extremists wouldn't have you believe that! Bring this kind of thing back, please...

    • @secondeye1574
      @secondeye1574 10 місяців тому

      That's not true. You just only hear about the cases of female directors making bad films because the director's gender is politicized. Otherwise you probably assume the director is a man. Want to go over how many bad films men have made? Because it's definitely more.
      Maybe there's still work to be done in challenging social norms, eh?
