I still don't understand how We Are Scientists weren't more popular. They created some of my high school angst jams and I'll always have a spot for them on my iPod. Very underrated group.

i fell in love with this song right away i heard it..
For most songs, it's actually a four-piece band, but the only guys who have been around for all of their history are Keith Murray and Chris Tapper, the two in the video, who are guitar/vocalist and bassist respectively. There was a third 'scientist', Michael Tapper, who left before Brain Thrust Mastery (the most recent album) came out... and now they have a new drummer and also a fourth person who plays keyboard, slide guitar, and some other bits and bobs.

I agree with almost everything you say, it's just that the way the lyrics and music are composed/structured seems more refined than on With Love and Squalor (which is still a great album and one of my personal favorites)
