Live with things a while before deciding to paint. You have other things to focus on for now. Remember to keep a bassinet and baby supplies on the main floor too so you don’t have to constantly climb the stairs. Both my boys spent time in a rectangular laundry basket in the living room and kitchen until they grew out of it. It was the right size to easily move from room to room as I did things around the house. Forty years later I’m still using the same basket for its original purpose.
I personally love the pop of the white chair rails and trim. It helps keep a room looking brighter, especially if you have patterns, textures, and or dark colors on the walls. So many things I love about your house, that I can’t list them all here. And your birds are beautiful!
Oh my goodness! I can't even imagine being pregnant, buying and moving into a new house etc. I'm amazed by you and your family and I love the house and how you decorated it (I think you did a great job picking out the colors). This home is going to be AMAZING for all of you!
Personally I wouldn't paint the chair rail. I LOVE the white it looks so fresh and clean. BUT you have to live with it.....BTW I also Love the green paint and wall paper. BEAUTIFUL. Babies nursery is sooo cute too. Great taste.
I like the wallpaper choi es ..but i also like the clean white ..if worried about it maybe a cream or antique white better for you ...but i think it would look to dark in green
Paint the wainscotting (the green below) white as well. Then no band of white in the middle, which does visual break up the room and make it look smaller. The all white below will tie in with the windows Better, highlight the wallpaper design and notnhave so much competing green in the room.
Hinges like that on the door have adjustable screws that you screw in or out to move the door position around, just look on all sides of the hinge to find the different adjustment screws. ❤️
In the dining room, instead of using white caulk on top, you can use the green color--it will fool the eye. As far as the mismatch, the wallpaper is busy, so you really don't see it.
I can’t see the miss match. Even when you pointed it out. Maybe if you held the shit longer. But I get it. My daughter goes crazy with anything she sees that doesn’t line up. Quarter round for sure instead of caulk. The caulk would drive you just as nuts as not fixing it. Maybe more.
I agree ... if I would change anything, I would paint the white chair rail and base boards to be one of the light colors in the wall paper. Ive had an interior decorator tell me to paint the ceiling a lighter shade of the green.
You have been so busy!! The new house is looking more and more like a home. I'd suggest painting the white chair rail the same green to have it disappear or else painting it, the beadboard, and the baseboards a lighter green. The white is too stark against the green. I see the nursery walls as more of an avocado green than neon. Regardless, it's your home and as long as you are happy, that's what matters. Love the artwork with the price tag. Like everyone else, anxiously awaiting the baby. 👼
REally, the wallpaper has to go not for a baby room. YOu should have painted it a buttercream color , keep the walls neutral and play with color with the decor. change that wallpaper!
The baby’s room looks great! The green wallpaper room looks amazing and the little mistakes are unnoticeable. Don’t let the little things bother you! Life is too short just enjoy! Love the new house it’s gorgeous! Thanks for sharing 💖
I love it too. Maybe a more feminine shower curtain? Something similar to her Anthro bedding to add a little bit of interest. But the colors look great against that flooring.
I absolutely love the white in the dining room it is so fresh looking! The nursery is beautiful! Ashton and Juliette 's rooms are really cute. I would add some art work to the blue bathroom and breakup the blue and see if that makes a difference. Beautiful home! Love the birds!
I would not paint the chair railing. I like it white I love the way it looks with the green. I think that would be a mistake if you did. Everything’s looking great!😊
In the dining room, instead of the quarter round, why don't you use picture rail moulding? That is most likely what would of been there originally. I love the wallpaper and the white trim with the green! Gives a very classy look. The house is beautiful and I cant wait for you to show us the baby! Hope she is here and you are resting and taking it easy for a little bit.
I was thinking how very stressful it must be about to pop and moving house and trying to make videos and shop and run the business. She is so lucky she has a great support system.
Picture Molding!!! What a great idea. We had picture molding in our craftsman style bungalow built in 1906. It was part of all of the original woodwork throughout the house. There are beautiful hooks available to use for hanging artwork.
I love the white trim and windows in the dinning room. I wouldn't paint it. I Like the colors in the bathroom and bedrooms. The baby room is darling! You really have to live in your home for a while to get a feel for where your furniture works best. Same for paint. Live with it for a bit and you will find, most times, that your first choice was the right choice. Everything looks great!
If anything, I would paint the lower half of the wall / panelling below the chair rail white also, it would offset the dark wallpaper and make the room look taller.
I really like the kids bathroom. The dining room looks great as well. I like the white but the creamy yellow would be nice too. IMO That nursery 😍 Beautiful rug in living room! I hope everything is fitting together nicely for y’all.
Wow! The gazebo looks great! How wonderful for you that you have a father so talented and helpful! Your place is looking beautiful, you definitely have a distinct style, which I absolutely love! I love all of the colors. Baby must be here if we're seeing this video. I hope you & baby are doing well. I also hope you're enjoying some family time. Thank you for all you do! Stay well 💕
Just beautiful and so 'you' with all the colors! I would say try living with the blue bathroom for a while before you rush to change it. I love it, but, different strokes for different folks. LOL It's all coming together is just going to be perfect! The birds seem to love their new room. Very happy for your little family.
I personally like the band of white----but a light off-green that complements the wood's paint color would be nice too. Once your furniture is in the room the white won't jump at you so much.
I wonder if the white doesn’t work because the wallpaper has more creamy yellows in it, not bright white. I’ve had experiences like that myself, when the paint I chose didn’t have the end look I expected. It’s a process!
Yes , 1/4 round would be a nice easy fix . Also, if you want to paint the trim your best bet is to pick a color from the wall paper it self that is one of the less noticeable to pull it together. I did that with a bedding set for our master bedroom to pick a wall paint and it worked .
Love what you’ve accomplished! Love all the wallpapers! In the dining room I’d paint the chair rail the darker color from the wall paper. It will then disappear. The gazebo is the bomb! All rugs are gorgeous! Love the baby’s room, so fresh!!
I love the house updates! Also, I just love the rug in the living room, soooo pretty! So happy for you all. Can't wait to see everything you guys do with the house.
Your yard is shaping up. I love that your Dad found the fish in the pond. That is so cool. The house is coming together really nice. I love your rug choices! I think the quarter round would look much better and make the wall paper look better, Good luck and I hope everything goes well.
I love the bathroom colors -- give yourself a little time before changing them! You could try an antique white on the baseboards and chair rail instead of the stark white ! Love your house and so happy for you!
Your house is beautiful. I like the white chair rail, but there is a touch of yellow in the wallpaper - might pick that up in the chair rail. The lighter green from the wallpaper is a nice idea too. I wouldn't caulk - the 1/4 round is a really good idea and it will make the ceiling molding even more majestic. The blue bathroom is wonderful. A nautical feeling and nice with the floor. If you thinks it's too much blue, maybe do the upper or lower section white at some point. Can't wait to see your new couch. And of course the little angel coming shortly! Her room is not neon -it's a gorgeous green!
Dear Jocelyn, please don't feel you have to fix every single little project immediately. Give yourself a break. Yes, fix the things that cost you money - as in a running toilet. But you'll survive a little mess for now. As for the dining room trim - maybe one of the lighter colors in the wallpaper. But it's okay to live with things for a bit before you make a hundred decisions. You have a lovely home for your family now.
I think you should put the kitchen in the dinning room open the wall up as much as possible between the two rooms it would make for a much bigger kitchen
Love your new house and all your choices. I agree with what several have already said. Once you are completely moved in and settled, live with colors as they are for a while and see what you think. I think your choices are lovely, but if after a while you still aren’t satisfied, then make changes that will bring you the greatest sense of peace. You and Andrew have done a great job!! Thanks for sharing.
Ok girl, interior designer here. U asked for advice on your dining room, here u go! I love, love, love your wallpaper and I get you on that white chair rail. It pops so much it overshadows the wallpaper a tad. Only problem is, your window panes and trim are white. SO, I might shy away from a different, lighter paint color on the chair rail that might not flow with your trim. Also instead of introducing another paint color. maybe consider a stained wooden chair rail to match the floor stain for a more balanced look. I also want to touch on your living room furniture dilemma. U were correct in your assertion that Ashley is not known for quality furniture. If u don't get satisfaction from them on your ETA, etc try Smith Brothers Furniture out of Berne, Indiana. I believe they service PA. Handmade from top to bottom and you can customize everything about it. It's more expensive that Ashley, but not the most expensive by far and they offer a lifetime warranty. It's built to withstand your growing family while looking super stylish. They're not paying me!! But I use them all the time and folks are always happy! Good luck to you, and thanks for teaching me so much!
I love the nursery. On my phone it looks lime green. Pretty wall paper. I also like the colors in kids bathroom. It's a beautiful house and property. Love the gazebo and the FISH!!
I thought the nursery looked lime green too, not neon green! It's very pretty. Your whole house is. In the dining room, I would suggest that the only thing I might paint is the chair rail, perhaps a lighter shade of green from the same colour family. I, personally, wouldn't paint the "baseboards" as the white with the white ceiling trim keep the room balanced. Best wishes to you and Andrew and the kids on your move and the precious little bundle that could come your way any time now.
You’re getting there! I suggest white for the top of the walls in the kids’ bathroom. Love the apple pear color and wallpaper in the baby’s room. Fantastic gazebo! What a handy Dad! 1/4” round would probably be best to button up the tops of the dining room walls.
Much as we love being part of your lives, keep us in our place. We are curious, supporters of your family, not permanent guests. We will happily watch content on you feeding the birds and showing us polished pontiles! So even though home is where you’ll be working from after baby arrives, please just sit in the sun room and chat. Xx PS love the swung vases! Bought one at my local charity shop in England last month in your honour!
Congratulations to you & Andrew and the kids! You have worked so hard and excited to see your success! I don’t comment often but I watch & love your videos. Beautiful home & yard!
The house looks great. I'd use the lighter green in the wall paper on the chair rail and baseboard, but I'd keep the white on the window trim and ceiling trim. The nursery does not look like neon green at all. How exciting to have fish in the pond too. I hope you guys are settled and enjoying the baby. 🙏❤️
Everything is just beautiful. Don’t stress lovely. Take your time. It is beautiful to see how much you love and respect each other. A breath of fresh air
Yes, I really like the dining room colors and also like the white band too. It looks so neat and clean, and I agree with the other comments that once you are moved in then you might be surprised as to how much it all comes together for you. But I really like the white band in the room and hope the color will grow
Love your house!! I love the blue bathroom. I agree with another commenter to live with the blue for awhile before you do any repainting. Everything is going to be lovely. Love the fish pond, it’s really neat having that. And I’m happy for you and the family. Take care that baby is almost here and I’m sure all of us can not wait to see that precious bundle of joy. ❤️🙏🏼🌻❤️🙏🏼🌻❤️🙏🏼🌻❤️🙏🏼🌻
Extending the pond back to it's original size with the waterfall would allow you to put fish in both areas plus the sound of the waterfall would give you a place to relax from the stresses of the day! Your new home is lovely!
Congratulations on your new home and the baby🦋🦋🦋 If I may suggest, for the time being just get simple metal shelves and organize your pantry material and everyday china, Espresso machine, and things like that in those shelves…
I absolutely love the baby's room!!!❤ I do like the contrast of the trim in the dining room with the wallpaper. I actually think the blue in the bathroom works really well! I think you chose well! All in all very very nice!!!😊
The house looks great, Jocelyn! I'm constantly amazed at the things you are able to do in addition to growing your baby. This is the first time I've seen your birds, they're beautiful.
Debated for 2 years before I bought my Breville Oracle expresso machine, insanely expensive just for coffee in the morning. But every time I look at it I remember our two week vacation with friends in Italy. Wonderful memories and yummy cappuccino! Absolutely love your colorful front room rug and the swing vases. I am soon to be 71 and find I need more color in my life!
I love the fact that you can stay in your new home now. I think once you have been in there a while you will figure out where to put things as you go. And once you are using the bathroom more you just might change your mind about the paint. but maybe a little lighter. In the long run it's your home and you do what ever makes you happy. When you showed the baby's room, I was so happy it is so pretty and calming to me. I cannot wait for her to get here. I hope you have an easy delivery and all goes well.
You are tired and very preggers, might be effecting your uncertainty about the colors. The green dining room is lovely, and the white chair rail looks nice, in my opinion. Of course, it's your home. I also like the 2 tone blue bathroom. Maybe live there awhile and see if your opinion changes. Then do as you see fit. The house is great. Congratulations on everything.
I think in your Dining room I would match the color of the flowers in the wallpaper, it’s hard for me to tell the color, light yellow? Gold? I think that would tone down the brightness and not draw your eye to the center. It would blend better. The house looks beautiful so far!! I’m excited for your family.
If you start thinking that you’re not looking well when looking in the mirror in the bathroom, it’s probably the color. Blue is not the best for that healthy glow! Try a rosy beige or light shell pink. Love that you have taken us along for the ride! Wonderful home.
Is it me or was that lamp shade upside down? LOL. What fun and exciting to move into a new home. Woohoo! Y'all deserve fun, y'all have worked so hard and come so far. We are long time subscribers.
If you redo the kitchen, perhaps you can reuse the cabinets in the barn. Love the house. Perhaps a creamier white for the chair rail in the dining room and definitely quarter round to finish off the ceiling. So, so happy for you all. You’ve worked so hard for this. 💕
Those birds are going to wake the baby up ! Oh my goodness you must have a very good tolerance level. I don't thin( I could live with the squawking. 😴😳 Your living room is lovely and all the beautiful blue vases are amazing !
Love your home. Fish art on the blue bathroom walls would be great. I personally love the blue walls. Can’t wait to see it when your settled. Can’t wait to see new member of family. Baby girls are so fun to dress.
It looks great. So nice to see it coming together. The idea of an office and keeping your bedroom separate is a great. I also got to thinking about the curtain for Juliette’s bunk and think about a sparking twinkling fairy light curtain. It would be little stars for her. My fav is the living room. We are all sending good vibes as you wait patiently for little one. Dying to know name ideas…
I too would keep the white chair rail and baseboard. Looks fresh and clean, crisp. But that's me. Love the baby's room. I think it looks like a Spring Green. Those fish look like babies, so Mom and Dad are probably in there somewhere, and bigger. Always wanted a pond like that. Yours is awesome. Can't wait to hear the baby has arrived and what her name is. Blessings to you and your family, and the safe and happy arrival of the new little one.
House looks great. I agree on pulling lighter color out of darker wallpaper. Maybe a pale yellowish like the petunias(?), with a little bit of color to contrast with the whiter trim. But whatever you decide, it will be lovely (as you are!)❤️
I commented already Jocelyn before I had seen the baby's room. You have both done an amazing job with it and it is certainly not 'neon' green. That wallpaper is fabulous and perfect. You are really making me want to 'finish' my own house having been here for four years now but it is so hard when one is by themselves. Your outdoor space is idyllic. You are doing everything so tastefully. I am in love with the large rug 'carpet' on your living room - please don't let that go 💕💕💕
* 1/4" Round Wood Molding Trim is the best fix at the top of the dining room wallpaper. Prime and paint it before installing so you only have a few touch ups when you're done with the installation. The 1/4" Round will also keep the top of the wallpaper from curling down in the natural heat and humidity in your home. Caulk is not a good idea at all--too messy and you won't get the straight line your eye is looking for. Just my opinion!--but I've got 40 years of rehab under my belt. That is going to be a fun house to decorate! Best wishes!~ :-)
The house looks great. The paint in the baby’s room did look neon in the first video but it must have been the light cause now it looks more like an apple green color. I briefly saw the hinges on the baby furniture before you closed the door and it looked like the changing table has European hinges. If it does you should be able to turn a screw to align the door right. Check the instruction it should say how to adjust them. I always get confused which screw does what so I’m not gonna give any advice on which one you should adjust. Lol
Jocelyn your home is beautiful. I wish you , Andrew and the kids a lifetime of love and joy. Make beautiful memories. Congratulations sweetheart. You deserve this.
So much to do. Half here half there, ready to pop, and you are so calm and cool and happy! I admire that about you very much! Keeping the business going too, youtube, and even a fish filled pond. The gazebo is very, very cool! Eventually everything will fall into place. God has given you a lovely family!
Love the house gourges Nursery looks very bright and beautiful ❤️ .Love everything about your house . Your birds are. to adorable . Pitchers will be cute in the children's bathroom it will make more cuter . Beautiful back yard .Love the belcony. Could picture you and Andrew sitting out there just chilling watching the Sun set the house is quiet the children are all asleep. Good luck on everything u guys deserve it.Hope u have everything settled before your new little lady comes into the world 💖

Lol, I used a laundry basket as well and an old grape-- picking pan that fit nice on my hip!
Prayers for a comfortable, happy ,healthy delivery.
Agree, there are so many other things to focus on.
I personally love the pop of the white chair rails and trim. It helps keep a room looking brighter, especially if you have patterns, textures, and or dark colors on the walls. So many things I love about your house, that I can’t list them all here. And your birds are beautiful!
Me to
The gazebo rocks! Kudos to dad. Love the nursery!
Oh my goodness! I can't even imagine being pregnant, buying and moving into a new house etc. I'm amazed by you and your family and I love the house and how you decorated it (I think you did a great job picking out the colors). This home is going to be AMAZING for all of you!

I agree with you! I like the white!
I really like the white. It gives the room a pop and breaks up the green.
The white paint is the ONLY thing nice about that room. Love Juliettes wallpaper but that green is hideous. Ashtons room looks best.
Your Dad is awesome, you're lucky to have such loving thoughtful parents. Now I see where you get it from!❤

Hi Amy.
How are you today?🌹🌿
For whatever it’s worth, I love the bathroom color! Maybe it will grow on you?❤️
I love it too. Maybe a more feminine shower curtain? Something similar to her Anthro bedding to add a little bit of interest. But the colors look great against that flooring.
@@suertecitaful ❤️
I like the blues in the bathroom, too. But YOU have to live with it. You should do what makes you happy.
I also like the bathroom blue.
I absolutely love the white in the dining room it is so fresh looking! The nursery is beautiful! Ashton and Juliette 's rooms are really cute. I would add some art work to the blue bathroom and breakup the blue and see if that makes a difference. Beautiful home! Love the birds!

Oh I love the bathroom colors and the babies room is very nice. The rug in the living room is beautiful.

The living room rug is beautiful too
I really like the kids bathroom. The dining room looks great as well. I like the white but the creamy yellow would be nice too. IMO
That nursery 😍
Beautiful rug in living room! I hope everything is fitting together nicely for y’all.
Ashton’s room is a wonderful color!!❤️
Hi Tommie Slayden.

Everything looks great!! Andrew…you are an awesome person.
Your new home is great! I am so happy for you. You have helped many people with your positive energy!
I love the baby’s room!

Pick your favorite light color in the wall paper to redo the trim.
The house colors are beautiful. I’m amazed you have so much done with the move in , you’ve pulled it all together so well. Such a lovely home ❣️
The house is beautiful. Move in and enjoy it for a while before you make any more decisions. ❤️
Hi Maureen.
How are you today?🌹🌿
Living room rug is gorgeous!💜
Don’t paint the chair rail. It needs to match the other trim. It looks really nice as it is.
Every body needs an Andrew. You are a very lucky person.
That is such a lovely house. I pray it’s filled with love and happiness.

The baby’s wallpaper is SO wonderful!❤️❤️❤️. Best wishes!🤱
It turned out so pretty! To be honest, when she showed us he color choices I thought to myself “ oh no! “ Boy Was I Wrong! I love it!
I love the bathroom colors -- give yourself a little time before changing them! You could try an antique white on the baseboards and chair rail instead of the stark white ! Love your house and so happy for you!
Yes on painting!! Do it in the “sage “ color:)
Love the rug in the living room!
Things are coming along beautifully.
Leave the dinning room as is, its beautiful.
I’m with Andrew and the painter lol I think the dining room looks perfect. 😄
Hi Amy.
How are you today?🌹🌿
The gazebo your dad is building is so gorgeous! I’m so pleased for you all. Your home is going to be lovely.
You’re getting there! I suggest white for the top of the walls in the kids’ bathroom. Love the apple pear color and wallpaper in the baby’s room. Fantastic gazebo! What a handy Dad! 1/4” round would probably be best to button up the tops of the dining room walls.
Green apple is what I thought.
@@dlday7821 Oh, I didn’t mean to say apple pear - but yes, apple green. My favorite.
Oh my goodness, you guys have been working very hard on this new house and I love it. Such a great home for your children to grow up in. 🤩❤️
Congratulations to you & Andrew and the kids! You have worked so hard and excited to see your success! I don’t comment often but I watch & love your videos. Beautiful home & yard!
Hi Amy.
How are you today?🌹🌿
Its all great, please don't kill the kitchen! The bath is perfect all of it is!!!! The gazebo is lovely. I love it all. 😆
I love the white chair rail! Wallpaper beautiful!
Hi Kay.
How are you today?🌹🌿
But I really like the white band in the room and hope the color will grow
on you in time.
I actually love the dining room just as it is!
Extending the pond back to it's original size with the waterfall would allow you to put fish in both areas plus the sound of the waterfall would give you a place to relax from the stresses of the day! Your new home is lovely!
Your house is beautiful and I know you will be making memories soon! Can’t wait for news of the new baby!! Look after yourself!!!
Congratulations on your new home and the baby🦋🦋🦋
If I may suggest, for the time being just get simple metal shelves and organize your pantry material and everyday china, Espresso machine, and things like that in those shelves…
Baby's room is lovely. I also love Ashton's room colour and Juliet's wallpaper. Slow and steady. It will all get there.
I absolutely love the baby's room!!!❤ I do like the contrast of the trim in the dining room with the wallpaper. I actually think the blue in the bathroom works really well! I think you chose well! All in all very very nice!!!😊
Hi Pamela.
How are you today?🌹🌿
The house looks great, Jocelyn! I'm constantly amazed at the things you are able to do in addition to growing your baby. This is the first time I've seen your birds, they're beautiful.
Hi Laura.
How are you today?🌹🌿
Debated for 2 years before I bought my Breville Oracle expresso machine, insanely expensive just for coffee in the morning. But every time I look at it I remember our two week vacation with friends in Italy. Wonderful memories and yummy cappuccino!
Absolutely love your colorful front room rug and the swing vases. I am soon to be 71 and find I need more color in my life!
You have such good taste, love what you’ve done with the house. Baby nursery is adorable. Can’t wait to see the baby 🥰
So happy for you and the Family! 🎉❤️🎉Remember don’t lift anything, let everyone else bring the stuff up stairs 👍❤️👍
Love to hear your birds talking. They sound happy & excited. Nice to see you have fish in your pond. How fun!
So happy for you, and it's only the beginning!
My thoughts exactly. Hope she's is a heavy sleeper. They are probably use to it
The baby will get used to it just like Juliette and Ashton🙂 It's best if the baby can fall asleep with noise.
Love your home. Fish art on the blue bathroom walls would be great. I personally love the blue walls. Can’t wait to see it when your settled. Can’t wait to see new member of family. Baby girls are so fun to dress.
House coming along well! So far so good 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Don't rush, just live in the house you will find the flow of what you need.
Hi Sandy.
How are you today?🌹🌿
You did your hair. Joc, you are glowing. Take care. Peace.
Lol
I am for the color of the larger flower in the wallpaper 💐 🌹 🌸 🏵 🌼 💐......soft yellow
ALL of the colors, wallpapers, etc are absolutely perfect
I love the bathroom colors !
I agree with Pamela Wood, a pale yellow would certainly give this room a nice bright space!
Leave it white
Jocelyn your home is beautiful. I wish you , Andrew and the kids a lifetime of love and joy. Make beautiful memories. Congratulations sweetheart. You deserve this.
Hi Cindi.
How are you today?🌹🌿
Pull a lighter color from the wall paper.
There's a special way of adjusting the screws on the hinges on those cabinet doors to the babies changing table you can look it up on UA-cam
So much to do. Half here half there, ready to pop, and you are so calm and cool and happy! I admire that about you very much! Keeping the business going too, youtube, and even a fish filled pond. The gazebo is very, very cool! Eventually everything will fall into place. God has given you a lovely family!
the baby's room floor is absolutely gorgeous love that and it's so cozy for the baby 👶
