Hi all welcome back to another video Dereck Reacts back at it again! This time around we take a look at another first time reaction with a PATREON request for Jermaine Stewart and his song "We don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off." This 80s song has lots of Mj, Eddie Murphy vibes. The beats, the sounds and catchy chorus puts this one on the top. This song is great, see my reaction now!

The vibe of this song is as much Whitney Houston as MJ - it was produced by Narada Michael Walden, who produced some of Whitney’s early dance-oriented songs (such as “How Will I Know”).
A humorous side note: when the album with this song came out, one reviewer noted the numerous high-fashion designers credited in the album’s liner notes and said “No wonder he’s in no hurry to take his clothes off, the little fop”.

My favorite song from him is Brilliance .it speaks to his state of mind at the time .I met Jermaine in Hollywood in the summer of 1984 .What a sweet man and soul .The 80's were a great time for music. But it had a dark side called AIDS that took Jermaine and many other talented and loved individuals before their time .And friends of mine .

Classic song, was only shown on the 80's music channel in UK a few days ago + on radio yesterday-I don't know how youANOTER have never heard this song before.
As when I have been to the US on holiday I have heard/seen it while out there.
Another one of my favs songs/music videos by him is-Get Lucky which failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 but at least the album it came off of: Say it Again was a hit on the Billboard Hot 200.

This was also smack in the middle of the AIDS crisis which was probably a factor.

+ apart from US outside of Europe, was also a hit in Canada, + New Zealand!

@@mikekaraoke i agree but not in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy ,Greece and others. That's why i said not so famous. In many 80s best if this tune not appear. Known but not so famous 😁
