  • *AUDIO IS BORKED: Sound does not play on one side when headphones are used. To fix on mobile setting, find your Mono/Stereo setting and switch it to "Mono"; this should play the audio correctly on both sides of your headphones.*
A clip from the Las Vegas production of Starlight Express in 1996. In this video, Rusty shows his desire to win the final while the Coaches are less than amused. This production of the show saw the first use of the New Starlight songlist/storyline outside of London, but kept the character of Caboose in rather than cutting him out like the London production did.
    Actors:
    Rusty - Greg Ellis
    Pearl - Dawn Marie Church
    Dinah - Jennifer Bizik
    Buffy - Brigitte Snowden
    Ashley - Amanda Clarke
Starlight Express is property of Andrew Lloyd Webber/Really Useful Group.

It's just impossible not to smile during this song! Rusty's just so excited, and I love how playful the coaches are with him! It's just so cute, and it's a rare moment of confidence for him!

As much as I love Call me rusty and Libesexepress, (sry if I spelled that wrong) I really love this version the best. I love how happy rusty seems in it!

Libesexpress.... also known as Engine Of Love.... Whistle At Me uses the same melody of Engine Of Love.

I love this so so so much😁😍. I bought the soundtrack to this through Amazon and I can’t wait to get it in the mail! I’m hoping it has lyrics and pictures of the cast (1993)

So in the English Production isn't a Pink Wig for Pearl? It seems like this Idea was Only for the German Production. And the Song Crazy is One of my absolutly favorite Song right after Songs Starlight Express and I do.

Rico Hofmann Pearl had a pink wig in the 1st US Tour as well as the first year of Vegas, the majority of the London run, and both Japan/Australia tours; Vegas just decided to change it not long after they started, and the English-language tours afterwards adopted similar blonde styles. And Crazy is a good song, but I do prefer Engine of Love over it sometimes.

@@CallMeRedon didn’t Pearl on broadway have a dark
Brown wig? I love it because it’s soooo Reva and she looks beautiful in it. I do prefer the pink wig for Pearl tho. It’s just a little big now lol. I wish I was a little more tame.

@@danielbaskins6601 Eventually, yes. Broadway Pearl had a lot of reworking done to her wig between rehearsals, opening and closing, but she did later end up with a dark brown (if not black) topknot ponytail wig kicking off the classic style we know now. Colors changed, but the style stayed until the Bochum 2018 rewrite gave her the blonde ponytail she has now. I wish they'd dialed back the old style instead, tbh.
