    Excellent technique. Including the pad holder. Most under appreciated talent lol. Nothing like having someone that knows how to hold the pads...

      The pad holder can make or break a training session.

      Seriously. I hold pads for everyone and no one can give me a solid session back and it hurts:(

    Damien's teaching is top notch, his technique is effortless and you can see his power easily. But the big thing i noticed today for some reason was his balance and breath. He regulates both so well. You never hear his breathing change as he continues to work and instruct with a projected voice.

    I have been training mt for about a year now and have found these instructions extremely helpful and I’m not just talking about the drills I mean the way u give meaning to the strikes has stopped to make me look at the individual strikes and understand how they set up for other strikes thank you so much for this newfound knowledge

    Very powerful kick generated from the great foot positioning; such great rotation on the planted foot that his heel is actually in front of his toes when the kick is delivered. Outstanding!

    Awesome combo video! I have a question about the technique of low kick: When you perform the low kick, should you glance at your opponent's leg where you aim to hit with your kick, or should you still have eye contact with your opponent while performing your low kick?

    to big of a pause between the hand and the leg on the other side try the same side leg after the second hand and dont make a step in youre already at the correct distance if youre punching him just do a good transition between the hand and the leg with a heavy lowkick

    Is he not turning his left foot with the hook for a reason? Genuine quest8

    • @michaelwingender9717
      @michaelwingender9717 4 роки тому +1

      In kickboxing it is generally taught to not pivot the front foot to the inside during a punch because a popular counter is kicking the back of the leg. We emphasize turning the hips and back foot when throwing hooks. Took a while for me to get used to, but when you get used to it you can still throw with pretty much the same power.
