Bro, even now after 25 plus years I have the same reaction. Wow! Pink Floyd are just in a league of their own. The whole live performance is a life changing experience. Great reaction!
I saw Pink Floyd live in concert in Cincinnati in 1972 and near Miami in 1973. I have attended many concerts since, but none compared to what I personally witnessed. 3 of the 4 band members I saw in 1972-73 are performing right there before your eyes at the 1994 Pulse concert. One of the most absurd comments I have ever read or heard was that Pink Floyd was “too old” to go on tour and perform live in 1994. Anyone agree? NOT ME! They nailed Pulse, period. They were outstanding again live in 2006, and David Gilmour was stellar in his 2016 live performance of Comfortably Numb and other Pink Floyd songs at...get this...age 70!!! He could probably outperform some musicians in their 20’s.
Thank you for not pausing or speaking over the music. Pink Floyd deserve that much respect. Just waiting now for the reaction to Run Like Hell and One of These Days from the same gig.
This is probably live at Gdansk. I see Rick playing the organ. This is a brilliant concert. Everyone was tight that night. I have the record, CD, and dvd.

I am if not sure if this has been posted on here before, but the band were formed in England in 1965.....56 years ago! I first saw them in 1967.....the year that Dave Gilmour joined. Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to find and discover the treasury of fantastic music that us old gits grew up with in the 60's and 70's........Led Zeppelin, The Who, Jethro Tull, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones....too many to mention but music that has stood the test of time! Enjoy the ride my friend!!

I'm 67 now and doubt very much i'll witness anything like that again. Best concert by an absolute distance, stunning. Check out the epic show closer,Run Like Hell.
I'm so grateful they captured this tour on video, but it still does it no justice to being there. I can't even begin to explain how much better it is being there in the crowd. If I could go back in time and experience one concert again, this would be it for me, hands down.
@@rassiebro very cool that you were able to see them twice on the Pulse tour, I also saw them in 88, liked the Pulse show slightly better, but both amazing shows!

We don't need someone who's never heard a group telling us what's going on. We just want to see YOUR reaction & watch the love grow on your face. But I do love your comments after the videos.
Watching the whole Pulse concert it's great to see how much David & Rick look to each other's smiling. See it a couple times in this song. Its incredible how David gets so many sounds out of his guitar with such seeming ease. Great reaction!
same concert ( which I saw 5 times ) "high hopes" keep talking' ( use a talk box ) . fyi 200 ton stage, 53 semi to move everything ,200.000 watts of power ( 5 power trucks outside ) 4 sets of 32 wireless speakers. outside gold lasers with FAA clearance. "run like hell" last song all 200,000 watts used with a few fireworks
On a parr with Comfortably Numb imo. Check out “High Hopes” from the same concert, it has an amazing solo of David G. on a rarely seen, electric Pedal Steel Guitar.
Hey Rock do yourself a huge favor and do the whole playlist from PULSE. It will be the best 2 plus hours ever. I have been in the rabbit hole since 1968 and I am still there at 70 yrs. old. Love your honest and sincere reaction. Keep it up.
Without a doubt, my favorite live performance. Love your reactions. Keep going, same concert, LEARNING TO FLY, HIGH HOPES, COMING BACK TO LIFE, TIME. Every song is epic.
I was there twice that Summer at Yankee stadium and giants stadium. You don't realize the size of those lasers. They went over the Manhatten skyline shot out of the stadium roof. NY new PINK floyd was in town that night.
I wish you were standing right next to me at this show. It was an experience like no other and it would have been fun watching your reaction. I've seen "The Floyd" 4 times and met them in 1984.
Comfortably Numb is great writing and music with the most recognized solo ever. This is PF post Waters and I believe their rival response to that song in a fashion. Gilmour I believe was playing at the top of his skill set right here.
Pink Floyd was formed in 1965... their (most likely) last album was "The Endless River" in 2014. PF had 15 studio albums... 3 live albums, 9 compilation albums not to mention multiple live dvds and solo albums performed by below members of the band. Your best bet to be blown away again would be Welcome To The Machine. It's an epic piece and ranks as one of their finest. One of their songs that makes you wonder how they wrote it when they did.

i have been listening to pink floyd since 1974 and now at the age of 65 i still still listen to them every day at some point,,i like my bass and can i recommend you watch Pink Floyd "Delicate Sound of Thunder"film parts 1&2 and for totally live no studio enhancements at all watch them live at pompeii as david rigby recommends,,its nice to see good music pleasing a younger generation,,once you have heard the music pay attention to the lyics, enjoy
great reaction. the synthesiser was a very popular thing, in the early 70s, just as the hammond organ was, in the 60s. in their early years, they were an experimental psychedelic band. after Syd, they morphed, but the old and the new came together in my favourite song, Echoes. the live performance of it, at Pompeii, 72 [i think] is most fans' favourite, although my favourite version is the less psychedelic live version, at Gdansk, in 2006, by Gilmour as a solo artist, joined on the keyboards by Richard Wright. the Pompeii version is 23 minutes long and is on youtube in 2 parts, although there is a one part version, if your equipment can manage it. the Gdansk version is 25 minutes long. Sorrow is my second favourite song, but i prefer the live version at Pompeii, in 2016, that Gilmour did, as a solo artist. my 3rd favourite is High Hopes; also the Pompeii, 2016 version, but it's also performed at PULSE
This concert was beyond any other I had been to- Cleveland May 26, 1994 was unbelievable it was cold, I was 15 at that concert- dude, you gotta watch the whole thing- this was so awesome.
Hey dude.. Go back... way way back to Pink Floyd ECHOES Pompeii when these guys were your age. I promise ..you won't be disappointed. Signed Grandad...from Australia.
If you want to see Floyd live then watch out for tour dates for British Pink Floyd and Australian Pink Floyd. They are excellent cover bands and it's a fun experience. I've seen Aussi Floyd 5 times and Brit Floyd once
I agree. Check out the Aussie Floyd UA-cam channel. They try to replicate Pink Floyd as close as possible with their live show. The members of Aussie Floyd are fans of Pink Floyd and David Gilmour & Nick Mason are fans of Aussie Floyd. In fact, Gilmour had them play at one of his birthday parties. Their 2021 US tour was cancelled but they will be back in 2022. It's a great way to keep the live experience of Pink Floyd going.
You need to start listening to Pink Floyd Albums in their entirety. That is how they were all made to be heard - start to finish - in a single sitting.
Same Pulse concert....check out "One of These Days," and "Run Like Hell." Insane light shows go with both of them. I'm 60 years old and loving your reactions. They mirror mine back in the day.
It's so lovely to have such a positive reaction from such young people not even born and now they here something that takes them on a new journey a new dimension new experience with probably the best and most innovative band in the world
I love your reaction videos and wonderful to see the upcoming generation appreciating the talents of previous decades. Pink Floyd are undoubtedly one of the greatest of all time and, their dedication to exploring sound to enrich their music is unsurpassed, (look for a documentary relating their sound sessions in Pompeii in the 70’s). They are rock gods! HOWEVER, please don’t dedicate your channel to Pink Floyd.....3 live songs, from different bands changed my view of that epoch/genre, and defined their place in folklore and they are: 1. Comfortably Numb.....you’ve already reviewed! 2. Stairway to Heaven, live madison sq garden 70’s.....PLEASE REVIEW!!!! 3. Hotel California, live Washington 70’s......PLEASE REVIEW! I wouldn’t ask you to do this if (a) it wouldn’t expand your horizons and your subs! and (b) show your appreciation for different, but still legendary, approaches! Go for it my man, you won’t be disappointed!!! And neither will your subscribers!!!!!!!
No one plays guitar with as much passion and emotion as David Gilmour, he is really incredible! Pink Floyd is legendary Rock Band, they've sold more than 400 million albums world wide, second ONLY to The Beatles. I saw them live twice, one time was The Wall Concert in 1980, what a phenomenal performance that was! The whole The Wall Rock Opera thing was massive,... the logistics, the expense, the production, the performances of this world wide tour in the early 80s was off the charts! Check out the professional reviews on The Wall, from music critics att,...and also google The Wall to get an idea how enormous the actual Show really was. Incredible.
I see you listened to Echoes live in Pompeii but listen to it again live in Danske Poland 🇵🇱, another FANTASTIC version which I think was the last time it was played with keyboardist, the Great Richard Wright! You Will Love It!
It's good that you recognise the importance of Rick Wright's contribution on keyboards. The bass player here is Guy Pratt, who for a while was married to Rick's daughter, and he still appears as the bassist on the increasingly rare occasions when David performs in public. The main drummer is Nick Mason, who is the only member of PF to appear on every album they made. and the importance of his contribution is often underestimated, as shown in the opening drum sequence to "Time", and his own personal favourite "Set the controls for the heart of the sun", as seen here at Pompeii 1972. ua-cam.com/video/QMHWRQ7zLAw/v-deo.html&start_radio=1&t=201 when they were all still in their 20's.
You've started something life-changing, dude. You won't be sorry. Next, listen to "Us and Them", the album version first, then afterward check out the live version. Simply amazing!
Another concert you would probably like would be their Delicate sound of thunder. One of my favorites on that is Dogs of War. Check out their album Division bell also.
Pulse is epic. I was first introduced to that concert through a guy I worked with. He gave me a dvd as a present and I watched it so many times. I wanted to ask if you would be willing to do a reaction to a Pink Floyd tribute of High Hopes by Nightwish. I played it a few days ago and it was so awesome that I think you would really dig it. I really like your passion and style in the reactions. Good stuff!
I just watched all the Pink Floyd reactions. There was some things you had said in the very first reaction to Comfortably Numb. I believe you said you were in orchestra. The other thing you said is you were jealous of those of us who grew up with Pink Floyd because of how awesome they are. And, I might add, even more awesome live! But I keep going back to you saying those things while watching you react to what is probably the greatest music ever. I keep thinking this, dude, you're musically inclined and you are young. Go out and make music like this! Show the current music scene what real music really is. Take it one step further and create a modern style of this! The sky is the limit! I could type a book here about all my memories of seeing Pink Floyd live, first hearing them, the journey they have taken me on, the mindgasms, etc. Once hooked on Pink Floyd you will never see music the same again. You are absolutely right that they take you away from everything. They take you to a place that you can't describe to others but you fully understand yourself. I will stop here and suggest yet another one to react to. Learning to Fly. But all Pink Floyd music is just as awesome and even better live. Their albums are meant to be listened to from beginning to end. They tell a story. It's nice to see yet another very young Pink Floyd fan experiencing what we've experienced for years!
. You gotta watch 'ECHOES' at Pompeii live - no fans, just them (this was when they weren't much older than you). You can see how they were creating the power, chaos, mind bending sounds, and groove that continued through their career.
pulse is the BEST live ALBUM. Please, react to songs "Shine on you Crazy Diamond", "US AND THEM", "One of these days", "Keep Talking", "Coming Back to Life" and Run Like Hell".

Hey dude.. Go back... way way back to Pink Floyd ECHOES Pompeii when these guys were your age. I promise ..you won't be disappointed. Signed Grandad...from Australia.
That's right! Take a day trip!
ON A GREAT SOUND SYSTEM THE BASE LINE DROP IS JUST DAAAAAANG 💯💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
TRUTH
Same Pulse concert....check out "One of These Days," and "Run Like Hell." Insane light shows go with both of them. I'm 60 years old and loving your reactions. They mirror mine back in the day.
my favorite song of Pink Floyd is ---> al their songs 😎👍
"Run like hell "from same concert" PULSE " 1994.
HOWEVER, please don’t dedicate your channel to Pink Floyd.....3 live songs, from different bands changed my view of that epoch/genre, and defined their place in folklore and they are:
I'd throw Telegraph Road from Alchemy,Dire Straits live at Hammersmith into that list too.
merci for this moment ....bonjour of france ...peace and love usa!!! bye
Added!
Watch RUN LIKE HELL live at the PULSE CONCERT 1994 London.
High hopes from same concert
This hurts so much it takes away the pain ...
Seen them....... I can die at anytime!!
I think you would love "One of these Days " from this concert
Man, that opening and closing is heavier than the iceberg that sank Titanic. The studio version is good, but this is GOOOOOOOOOOOD!
You've started something life-changing, dude. You won't be sorry. Next, listen to "Us and Them", the album version first, then afterward check out the live version. Simply amazing!
It was earth shattering. Though I saw the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour years earlier …
Anything from pulse will not disappoint
From the album Delicate sound of thunder in 1988
Damn right. They have all kind of music for all sorts of human mood. Listen to mostly PF for last 3 years
I'm digging your Pink Floyd journey!! \m/
Another concert you would probably like would be their Delicate sound of thunder. One of my favorites on that is Dogs of War. Check out their album Division bell also.
Nothing beats comfortably numb , but this is fucking excellent
One of these days from the same concert is another great one. Enjoy yourself. We are. Lol
MOTHER please.
Comfortably Numb has always been it for me
Pulse is epic. Good stuff!
Now check out Echoes live at Pompeii.
Waters bassline on that is sheer wickedness.
This song was released in 87' on A momentary lapse of reason album
"Hey You" studio version ,from the album : "The Wall"
You should check out David on the stratocaster 50th anniversary-concert! :)))
pulse is the BEST live ALBUM. Please, react to songs "Shine on you Crazy Diamond", "US AND THEM", "One of these days", "Keep Talking", "Coming Back to Life" and Run Like Hell".
