I would love if you checked out their video for Needing/Getting. Not only is the video concept insanely creative, you'll also be able to clearly see and hear the singer singing live.
I watch a lot of reaction videos, and it's so different when someone actually is professionally involved with something related to the video they're reacting to. You get whole different observations and insights.
Take a look at OK Go - Upside Down & Inside Out. It was filmed in 0 G. There's a couple behind the scenes videos that show how it was made. No green-screen. A lot of vertigo and nausea. Gives meaning to "suffering for your art."
There's a making of video out there for at least White Knuckles. It was done in 1 take...something like take 51. The tall, skinny one is actually the singer.
I know this video is 2 years old, but i really want to share some fun facts. This too shall pass: - The big contraption in the video is something called a rube goldberg machine - The video on the TV (shown at 5:06 in this reaction video) is their music video for their song 'here it goes again' - The people cheering above the men at the end of the video are the engineers who built the whole thing - And yes it was done in one shot without cuts. White knuckles: - The animals are all rescues - There are 14 dogs and a goat (goat shows up at 13:32 in this reaction video) - The bloopers are a fun watch (thats more of an opinion than a fact, but you should still check them out in your spare time) - And yes it was also all done in one shot without cuts.
The guy on the left at 12:27 is the singer. Few things you'll notice - they're always 1 take in all videos. My favorites are "Obsession" and "I won't let you down". Some other good ones are "here it goes again "which was their first one and put them on the map, "Needing Getting", and "the one moment." They have a few others but the ones above are probably the best in my opinion. All are amazing though. They also often have behind the scenes videos for each video where they show you how parts of them were made.
Did you also notice that the lab at the end was barking on the beat? Also the original video for This Too Shall Pass (the first song on here) is amazing, and features the Notre Dame Marching Band. Give that a quick watch if you get a chance in your free time. (I know, "Free time, what's that?" lol) You are still putting out great content. Very entertaining and educational. Keep it up.
Bonjour cher Lukas Quelle bonne idée tu as eu là ! Ce groupe est génial. Merci de nous le faire découvrir, quel talent ! quelle créativité, c'est vraiment un très bon moment que je viens de passer en ta compagnie Merci😉 Hi dear Lukas What a good idea you had there ! This group is awesome, it's nuts Thank you for letting us discover it. What a talent ! what creativity it's really a very good time that I just spend with you Thank you (I hope this is fair cause I only have very old old school English LOL) Have a nice day, amitiés de France
I recommend "Needing/Getting" (Chevy commercial for Super Bowl), "The One Moment" (sponsored by Morton Salt 'Walk Her Way' Foundation) & "Upside Down and Inside Out"
"This Too Shall Pass" is my favorite video by them, it's just mindblowing. I don't even want to IMAGINE how many takes it took them to get this thing right (judging from the color on their overalls a LOT), and how often everything went well just to go off the rails just before the end.
I love OK GO! The next two you should react to are "Here It Goes Again" and "Upside Down & Inside Out". Although the list of their great songs and entertaining videos is extensive! Thanks for your reaction. Very entertaining.
I have seen the mural of them from the paint cannon on "this too shall pass" in the Seattle arts museum, great band love their dedication to the arts and love of performance
yesss i love OK Go!! Their treadmill video got them on the map, but I'll just say that every music video they ever put out is just like this... You should watch them all
Thank you for introducing OK GO to me! I really enjoyed it ! That with the dogs made my day!!! Hard work, indeed! Kindly ask you to find a place in your reactions map for Diana Ankudinova, a very young russian singer. Thanks for considering it! Have a prosperous year, good health and joy! Χρόνια πολλά!
Wow , total madness but so beautiful .Work , but also fun ! Lukas, you have a very good observation spirit. You clearly see the director in you .Great !
Adore your reacts, as always. Just two comments... First... It was a Golden Retriever. *lol* And you were so intent on all the details, but missed the goat?! LOL!!!
I really never liked reaction videos but I have to admit I thoroughly enjoy yours and the artists you react to. You owe me one night of sleep, couldn't stop watching 🙈. You notice and comment on lots of stuff I'd have missed out on. Your face, smiles and the "wait, whaaaat?" makes it perfect. More videos, please!
Elsker den video og viser den altid til mine elever, når jeg har et forløb om Storm P. - som jo også lavede sjove opfindelser med kærereaktioner - omend hans blev ved tegningerne.
Okay, others before me have recommended many other OK Go videos and I second them all. But I'm taking the opportunity to recommend video from a band in another genre of music, since you said you love dogs. Home Free is a country (the only one?) a cappella group who actually sing many more genres of music. A video they did about two months ago is a cover of When Will I Be Loved, originally by The Everly Brothers in 1960 and covered by Linda Ronstadt in 1975. Their visuals go back and forth between a dog escaped from a shelter searching for a loving owner, to the five guys sitting with pets owned by two of them, to them around various other dogs and cats. Home Free's voices are amazing and I think you'll like this video to get you started on an amazing group of guys, togethers and separately. (Oops. I see now that you're familiar with the group, having reacted to a few of their songs a couple years ago. Well, this one is a great one to bring you back into the Home Free rabbit hole.)
There are a bunch of "behind the scenes" videos on their channel - I think you'd really enjoy them as well! OK-GO has done some truly amazing Things with their videos - check out "Upside Down/Inside Out"!
...and did you catch the one getting dragged off his feet by a small goat during the step-sit thing just before they set up the dog pyramid at the end?
Great video! One of my favorites by ok go is Upside Down & Inside Out, shot in zero G! Also if you love dogs in music videos, check out Save The World by Swedish House Mafia...sooo good!
There are making of videos on how they made each of their videos. They also have a TED talk about their creative process. Great reaction as always, Lukas! You have a talent of picking up on the subtlest of details... Not to derail this reaction but I thought I’d make an Angelina Jordan suggestion if you don’t mind: I know you covered some of Angelina’s really young performances as well as her most recent work; however there are some great performances from Angelina’s middle years if you could call. It that! I’m listing you some titles of AJ performances in the 10-12 year old range... I know you like reacting two songs at a time so any combo of the following would be amazing! Born to Die A Million Years Ago It’s a Man’s World Feeling Good (outdoor version) Unchained Melody (version where she has a flower in her hair) Again my apologies for butting in here, as it were! Cheers from Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada!
This was really fun. I love your Pentatonix reactions as well. I would love to see you react to " Your Turn to Roll" The Critical Role theme song that woud be way cool.
Hi, thanks for your reactions, I will recommend a new I think for you artist and promise you will be in love 😍- Diana Ancudinova- Wicked Game, Human, Rechenka. A fenomenal girl.... Please make a reaction to her songs. And Dimash - Opera 2 😊
I forgot to mention - if you are into artists with amazing videos you should check out the Gorillaz. They are a 2 person band - 1 musician/singer and 1 animator. All videos are animations that he does. They also have other artists guest appear in their songs. Totally unique.
I've watched 5 of your reviews tonight... It is now 02:37am and haven't slept. Please do a reaction Video on Netta - Toy. She won Eurovision a few years ago.
Bands should never make the very clever Rube Goldberg setup better than the music. AJ and Dimash more my style. The degree of difficulty beyond reproach! Your appreciation is in a totally different realm than music.
I would love if you checked out their video for Needing/Getting. Not only is the video concept insanely creative, you'll also be able to clearly see and hear the singer singing live.

I would recommend Upside Down & Inside Out and I Won’t Let You Down. The amount of planning to create the art is amazing.
Yes, especially if you're s filmmaker
So many OK GO amazing videos!!
I won't let you down is probably the most impressive of their videos.
I disagree I think the I wont let you down is more visually impressive with the amount of people
I do agree. It's my favorite as well
There's a making of video out there for at least White Knuckles. It was done in 1 take...something like take 51. The tall, skinny one is actually the singer.
am obsessed with OK GO! i love their music and all their videos are art on its own! they should make a documentary on how they make all these videos
I know this video is 2 years old, but i really want to share some fun facts.

If I remember correctly the second video features shelter dogs. All of their videos are great
Thank you!
Этот клип можно смотреть бесконечно!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's so easy to get distracted by all the awesome dogs that not many notice the guy with the goat at 13:32!
Lol
I recommend "Needing/Getting" (Chevy commercial for Super Bowl), "The One Moment" (sponsored by Morton Salt 'Walk Her Way' Foundation) & "Upside Down and Inside Out"
Ok Go has many great videos. "Here it goes again" has always been one of my favorite all time videos. They are all very creative.
"This Too Shall Pass" is my favorite video by them, it's just mindblowing. I don't even want to IMAGINE how many takes it took them to get this thing right (judging from the color on their overalls a LOT), and how often everything went well just to go off the rails just before the end.

They have the most creative videos. The second video was filmed in my hometown, Corvallis, Or.
There are A LOT of OK GO videos that are AMAZING. I recommend them to everyone I can! They're so original and creative!
You could do more OK Go Needing/Getting, and One Moment... those are the 2 best.
This was something different and fun for the day. thank you for sharing something unique and opening up a different avenue.
Also the one moment is very visually impressive. And they don't repeat each other in the videos
Adore your reacts, as always. Just two comments... First... It was a Golden Retriever. *lol* And you were so intent on all the details, but missed the goat?! LOL!!!

Did you notice the goat? right behind the two german shepards.
LOL. I did. it's hilarious.
Is the third guy who’s walking the dog actually being dragged Around by a goat? (At 13:35)

Dear Lucus, you are missing out on some great talent. "Foxes and Fossils" check out the their studio work, amazing! you will not be disappointed .

Lukas, the perfect followup to this one is to go watch "OK Go - White Knuckles - Outtakes + 4 Angles" - makes the end result even more impressive :)
Sorry but can I ask you when you'll react to Dimash again? There's a lot of amazing musics you can react to. I'll be waiting 😊 😘from Portugal
Done. :)
A fun band.
ALERT!!!! NEED YOU TO REACT TO OUR GIRL ANGELINA JORDAN AT AGE 12 SINGING
"HOW GREAT THOU ART" IN HER LOWER REGISTER!!!!!
Dude!!! Where did your neck go?
LOL. I'm a turtle, apparently.
The two guys lip-syncing both do vocals. This band is tons of fun, and they are obviously very visual :)
It took them 83 takes.
Bands should never make the very clever Rube Goldberg setup better than the music. AJ and Dimash more my style. The degree of difficulty beyond reproach! Your appreciation is in a totally different realm than music.
