Needing is one thing ,but getting's another. It's about letting go of a lost love. Their music is just as deep and well thought out as their videos!
OK GO is absolutely brilliant and I cannot understate how you need to react to basically all their stuff. From optical illusion to stop motion, anti gravity, rube goldberg machine, they always have a super interesting theme and have stellar music, coreography, videography, and everything is just insanely good. It's also always or almost always done in one take as well, which only adds to how impressive they are as a group along with their crew.
If you want to start chronologically, feel free to watch Here it Goes Again, albeit entertaining and still a good song, it is one of their weakest ones visually, but only because of how exponentially they grow from there.
I totally agree, Here It Goes Again is very simple compared to their later mind-blowing videos, but in the early days of UA-cam, they went viral because of the quirky low budget video which is well choreographed & shows the 4 characters in the band really well.
This is not the best example of their wonderful weirdness but all of their videos are like watching a kinetic sculpture play ins a band.
Every one of their videos will be the most unique video you've ever seen. That's how they roll. It's all about the music videos with this group.

This was a Super Bowl commercial that was well timed, since I needed to shed a fixation for a young lady about the same time.
This IS their thing, this IS what they do. They are SO INCREDIBLY CREATIVE. They’ve also been collaborating with NASA to realize some of their videos (one shot in 0 gravity and one with a huge Rube Goldberg machine) and mostly their videos are pure maths, but that maths turns into magic.
Also, they have a project where they create material for schools to teach science to kids. Not only that, during lockdown they recorded a song separately in their homes and then a bunch of schools asked to be provided with the music sheets to do a project of their own, and Ok Go not only did that but organized a massive worldwide project so that everyone who got into it had something to do, and the results are amazing. Just look up Ok Go - All Together Now for the original song, and then Ok Go Sandbox - All Together Now for 6 different covers where kids and generally people did their part and then Ok Go Sandbox put it all together. These guys are the GOATs.
By the way, the singer took stunt driving lessons for this video, and I’m fairly shot they did this in one go and then put together several different points of view from several cameras. Because all of their videos are in one take.
I recommend the video for Upside Down & Inside Out, The One Moment, The Writing’s On The Wall, White Knuckles, Obsession, End Love, I Won’t Let You Down and This Too Shall Pass, both the Rube Goldberg machine version and the marching band version.

I think that as a photographer The Writing's on the Wall would be a good pick, given how much they play with perspective, projection, and reflection in that video.
This is SO their thing. They will practice these over and over until they succeed in completing the whole video in ONE TAKE

The full version is good too. A great band. Yes, they’ve become even more well known for their videos (and they do “making of” videos), but their music stands on its own.
Their videos are usually 1 TAKE!! Might have taken 101 tries prior, but the final was done in only ONE!!
The have a Video that took l Iike 5 seconds to record. Then they play it in slow motion as the song plays. So cool

All of OK GO's videos are pretty over the top. It is like they just kept outgoing their previous videos. I suggest watching all of them.
