“Rites of Passage” was a great episode. Guest stars were Pam Grier and John Turturro. Philip and Pam had great chemistry as Rico and Valerie. Jan Hammer wrote a music track for the pair that was popular. Perfect fusion of storytelling and pop music, especially when Valerie’s sister is killed by her pimp’s hit man to the tune of “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner. Miami Vice at its best!

But the one scene i'll never forget is when the Colombian hitman sat there, waiting to kill Sonny in his own home. Michael Mann has always made the sound of gunshots very real, and this was the first time he really made a machine gun sound like living hell to deal with, so realistic. I remember that moment like it was yesterday eventhough it's over thirty years ago.
Without Miami Vice, there will be no GTA Vice City.
I love Miami Vice the original didn't like the movie redo
Did anyone like that movie? I remember it was a Huge Flop.
@@darkwolf-22 I think It barely made back It's Budget. Definitely a Disappointment.
The movie was absolute rubbish. There is only one Crockett and Tubbs and it ain't those two
Willie Nelson the old Texas Ranger man I watched that 30 plus yrs ago
If they brought this back with the original cast it would still be a hit.
Dang, I had a big crush on Don Johnson. Still do today. ❤️
My favorite episode is the one with pro boxer Roberto Duran.
