- It is the first product out of “The Quantum Years” series starting on November 16, 2014 with the MMW Festival concert in Melbourne. This release is named “Mala Kunia” - the name of two Aboriginal tribes - according to Aboriginal mythology - living ages ago around Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, whereas the Mala tribe lived on the sunny side and the Kunia on the shady side of the rock.

Great show last week in SF!
Back in the early 70's must haves were a scientific calculator, an LED digital watch and Tangerine Dream. With these we were set for the future
@Jeremy Goodman you forgot the record players and cassette players to use for listening to TD and other awesome 70s music. 😂🤣😂
I love 💗💗💗Tangerine Dream I listen to them everyday. And the new group is beyond wonderful. Absolutely the best Electronic band on the planet.
Hey poznaje Cie. Mogla by byc z tego plyta. Reasumujac to mam mieszane uczucia po koncercie. Na sali slychac bylo polska mowa, tuz przede mna tez siedzieli Polacy. Coz, my to lubimy chyba. Pozdrawiam
@@rrki witaj.
If I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, I would choose Tangerine Dream.
that would be dull, after a short while.
Be carefull what you wish for ;-)
Magic, as always Forever......................................
I thought that it was about time that I bought this album, as I just love it! It should arrive over the weekend.
I have been a fan since 1987 and just nearly reaching the 70 album mark, which is small compared to other die-hard fans. Ever the Dreamer! ❤
An overlooked but glowing gem of an album. Classic TD!
WHAUW - This two very amazing T.D. Classic tracks - Madagaskunia and Madagasmala,s first and last play part - is so dam nice and beautiful to listen to even time I need to be relaxed and clean all my bad moods and stress out of my mind 😇course since 1980 has the kings of ambient electronic music T.D always been my best favour band and will still be that untel I,m going to die ❤
Ear candy, pure love for my ears. This is what TD is about
Thank you very much. Love and blessings.
🎼spectacular🎶
Bought this after the melbourne concert in 2014 and Edgar signed it kindly...great moment.
long time TD fan but ... wow, just wow ... this is a new one for me
Just listened to a radio show from the past. Vale, Edgar.
Tangerine Dream was, is, and will be my favorite for ever , yes I have been following them sine I was 19 or 20 years old back in days.
I have been following TD since the time you could loan cds from the library. I used to record those on cassette tapes at home :-D
I go back to when you could (somewhat illegally) rent records from a shop and tape them....mid 70's (arguably the best TD lineup) I drove from Hayes, close to Heathrow Airport, to Kingston where you could buy an LP record and then return it, pay a fee and exchange it for another. Not sure how long before they shut him down, but I managed to build a great library for peanuts!
Tamjerime es una respuesta ala creacion de la tecnolojia mundial😊
This is classic Tangerine Dream, have loved them since fifteen, not saying how long ago that was ha!
lol almost 32 years for this guy (me) 😆
No need: Tangerine Dream is timeless. 😁
I had never, ever, no, not EVER heard these tracks before!! I am transported beyond . . into Electronica Ecstacy!! ELECTRONICA and Tangerine Dream Forever. Looking forward to Edgar Froese's newest album . . . . . "AFTERLIFE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really uplifting,
klasyka to stare płyty TD, liderzy byli tu niezastąpieni
Bravo!!
Brilliant album! :)
Nice Musik after all this years I find something new from Tangerine Dream. Normaly I hear a lot of progressiv Psychedelik Ambient and Trance and others like Asia ore Jazz tranzending borders. This remember me on past and future. Best wishes from Germany
Hi, can you recommend me some albums to listen to ? I'm just getting into electronic music and synth world. Cheers !
@@grainydayExit is my favourite album, never tire of it.
I had a hard time locating this album, but finally landed a copy. It was released as a limited edition.
there site called Bandcamp you can download there album from that site. oh i think there is a vinyl released as well too.
I was fortunate enough to purchase the CD from the merchandise counter at their Manchester gig. Great concert plus the CD was £10. Bargain!
Hoping to pick it up on vinyl next Saturday.
Perfect! That's it. So beautiful. Thanks on sharing. Matan Nestel.
I've been an avid TD fan for several years now, and I certainly wouldn't consider this album complex by their standards, but there's just something about it that resonates with me. I absolutely love the nostalgic simplicity of it. It's quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite TD albums ever made.
It's a fantastic reminder that something doesn't have to be especially complex or technical to be good! Strong songwriting and composition will always carry through.
Seconded! My thoughts and feelings exactly. ❤
sounds a bit like TD from the mid seventies to mid eighties . And that is as it should be !
Perfect!
ICE AND NICE
🤯Wow
Nice🏴
cool--
Nice!! :)
- Mila Kunis? I'm off to Peru (and Boilivia) 1,5 months three years late due to Covid in 5 weeks, and I guess I'll play the cupdisc EP 'Machu Picchu' a lot, but I have almost 200 TD albums and 200+ downloaded bootlegs (now available here on YT) to choose from since I saw them in the Coventry Cathedral on Swedish TV in 1976. Prices sure have increased since I put the site (and La Paz) on my Bucket List in 1990 - $60 for half a day at Machu Picchu, that recently closed down parts of it that are at risk of falling down due to the thousands of tourists there every day. When I visited Taj Mahal in 1991, the price was a couple of bucks. Now, it's $40 or 50 for farangs (foreigners)...
sweet daydream trip
💕💕💕💕
The 1st and probably best bf I had took me to TD concert in SF, at the Fillmore…had to be 1985 or 86…exceptional experience - both the concert and the bf. // As is this album, BTW! 👏🥰
That must've been awesome!
Probably 1986 - the Underwater Sunlight tour. I saw that great show!
Do you remember that part of the gig which featured a backdrop of fire? I think it was a Firestarter song.

When was this recorded? Who was recording with Edgar?
this was recorded around at the end of 2014.
Edgar was getting started with the quantum years before his passing.
Edgar Froese, Ulrich Schnauss, Thorsten Quaeschning.
and Hoshiko Yamane.

Eye Grasped tic tac tic -tea keen T2 (veg.tea) 🏴
Tangerien ? lol
Lacks the edge and experimentation of TD at their peak in the 70s. Not much more than supermarket music to be honest. Most of the fan boys on here will probably disagree but I don’t really care. I know what I like and this is not even close to the Tangerine Dream of old.
Here, here!!!! Although it’s ok, it’s definitely for the new breed of TD fans, you can’t compare this to the TD I grew up on, give me Ricochet, Rubycon and Encore any day.
