Heard that first at nite with headphones. Unbelievable. Like diving into another world. What a great rich sound! This is now one of my TD all time favorites.
All credits to Edgar for the genre of course. Then the very tune meats the standard and it sounds like hell. I don't care whom they resemble, it is good to listen. A very well made one, really worthy. Thanks, and all the best for the band.
Actually it matters a LOT who is at the helm. But I get what yer saying. It was EF's intent the lineups continue to celebrate TD and its legacy. This is a SOLID line up since they "apprenticed" under the master.
Thank You !! Thank You!! Holy Moly!! That was brilliant!! I have the 2-CD set on order, & it's been shipped, but, I'm soooo grateful to be able to hear this track (CD) Thanks much...again!!
Ay ay ay ay...i love it ! Interesting combination, indeed ! And beautiful video...makes the cold days become some warm breath that are melting the ice and frost that is covering the landscape before our eyes :)
Where the F#*c has this been hiding, I could get to like the new TD...Fantastic...like an Edgar Froese tribute piece, definitely the best post Edgar Froese track I've heard. .
This 1050 session was saturday, I was there on sunday for the 0955 session. My first TD concert and one of the best live experiences ever. It was genius. Gonna see them live again this august in Amsterdam. By the way, will you also upload the 0955 Session? I have the cd, but always handy to have it on UA-cam :)
Bobby Neal have to split these long tracks up into sequences, interpret each sequence with appropriate visuals, then bolt the whole session back together, but with continuity between each sequence.... 🤔🤫
Thorsten showed me round his modular rig, in Berlin 2012. Even back then he was already incorporating some state of the art modules, for complex sound processing.
Ádám Lőrincz you mentioned the huge sound...this was one of Edgar’s recommendations for the new quantum sound. TD use Birgir Jøn Birgisson at Sundlaugin Studios, Reykjavik, to master their unique ‘symphonic’ sound.😊
Well I think nowadays you don't have to go there to reach that mixing quality. Can buy and set up high quality studio equipment at many places, though an expert sound engineer is also important in the "chain". It's not like the 70's or earlier :D
Very good but missing a layer of inspired melodic complexity and variation native to the old group. This sounds more like a foundation than a completed piece. The imagery is good.
+Andy King...You do realize there's no Froese in this? Edit...Listening a bit more this sounds a bit like a piece from the Edgar Froese tribute album there's a brilliant track called "Final Footprints" by Michael Bruchner that I had on constant replay and this ones almost as good.
The violin ....moves me to tears when thinking of a sorrowful goodbye!
I've never heard these tracks. This is great, great stuff.
Probably their best show up-to-date..?
Brilliant !! What can what say, the old to new Tangerine Dream, My favorite music since 1974.
Heard that first at nite with headphones. Unbelievable. Like diving into another world. What a great rich sound! This is now one of my TD all time favorites.
Fantastic! Definitely a return to the Froese- Franke- Baumann era. I love it.

I love to write listening to Tangerine Dream. Really sparks the imagination :0)
Classic TD music still being made. This is a superb release.
OMG, I'm hearing this for the first time, its Cosmic sound
magical , TD of old. Thanks for the post. TD WILL carry on with who ever at the helm it matters not. Thanks Edgar for everything.

Congratulations 👍🏼, wishing you to pass the 10k subscribers mark, as you deserve them.
Sequennce trance!
Reminds me of former TD era with Froese, Franke and Baumann.
This line-up indeed equals the early incarnation... Finally a TD that is breathing again and that is no longer lethargic... Great stuff!!!
Yes of course ----------------------------------
SUPER

PROPHET V...Still holding my breath for the other one from this 2-CD set. 9:55 Session...
Still not 100% happy with finished video.....music is much darker than 10:50pm session...work in progress...sorry!
Up on UA-cam, now...........................
Okay!
Super. 💐.super. 👍.✌😔✋🎇⚘
Not too shabby. When they are not channeling the classic trio, they are quoting Klaus.
Even better, at least here.
33:00 to 38:20 Epic!

T D SG there will be continuos 3 Generation ?
It seems so!
WOW....... is this post-Froese era? who composed the band here? impressive sequenzer sounds.
RMG Wheels & Spokes Lab. Lineup is Thorsten Quaeschning (keyboards, sequencers, ob1), Hoshiko Yamane (electric violin, ableton push), Ulrich Schnauss (Ableton, keyboard, sequencers, effects)😊
Thank you!
After 40:00 starts my favourite :)
Though without the 39:59 minutes before, it would have been différent!
What gear do they use? Especially the pulsing bass - Moog? Tb-303? Great song, sounds huge BTW.
Ádám Lőrincz (bass) sequencers are by Manikin/ Schrittmacher. Linked, I suspect, to Thorsten’s Doepfer Modular Synthesizer.
Thanks! While software are the most sophisticated sequencers, I wonder whether this sound can be authentically reproduced with VSTi-s...

You amazing. I never met you I don't even know the color of your eyes.
What do you call tomorrow music?
HiralalHi
Very good but missing a layer of inspired melodic complexity and variation native to the old group.
This sounds more like a foundation than a completed piece.
The imagery is good.

+Andy King...Agreed... at last.... a combination that gets it right.
Thank you for Final footprints!
He's a bit on a food stike motel a fast.
Sounds more like Red Shift then TD. Not bad but could be better.
Is Red Shift that good?!
@@Blibloups
Not as good as the MID-Aged TD but good.
Violine gefällt mir nicht
And music?
