Does the rubber on the patch have cords or belts through it or is it just a straight up rubber?
It's a specialized kind of rubber, we've worked really hard to get the formula right over the last 6+ years. It's designed to restore as much of the structural integrity of the tire as possible.
How well does this go with a tyre thats been staked by tree branches of the 1 to 2in size?

Nope, these will work on any tubeless off-road tire as an emergency repair... bias or radial
