My Kind of Woman
if youre on an electric guitar you can play it with the root of C# on the 9th fret of the E string and its an octave lower and sounds more like the bassline.
Like this

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

----9----9----9--------------------------------------------------9-----------------------------------------------------------------------------12--12--12------------etc---------------
Thank you so much
Im one week into guitar, what does root of C# mean?
@@mafalda9812 So, the root is typically the beginning or lowest note of a chord. For ex. a C major chord on guitar (C, E, G C E) starts with C, meaning it is the root. So I think OP means by saying C# is root is that it's the lowest note in this piece. It's actually the same note as in this video that you start with on the A string. Hope this helped.
Tame Impala (Kevin) plays exactly as shown in the tutorial but uses an octave pedal to transpose it down 12 steps.
What does this even mean
1:15 This is the first time I heard a person name the strings like him lmaoo
its really common
It's just a way of remembering them
its kinda useful tho
I had one guitar lesson and that was all he taught me. Eddie ate dynamite, goodbye Eddie.
Every acid dealer gets busted eventually
I learned this the other day and my fingers were raw and I had a blister on my thumb. I have to tape my ring finger everytime I play this now!! So worth it
Your seriously awesome. Ive been using your videos for quite some time now. Thanks dude
*You're
thanks for the lesson, very easy for begginers understand!
Me a beginner: Can't even play the basic chords
Also me:
I wanna try this
Hey Hey updatee: I can't say I can do this flawlessly, but yeah I improved alot. Right now I'm practicing my plucking and I've definitely got my basic chords. Also in the past, my fingers would hurt when I play. But now I'm getting a hang of it. Everything I've learned to do was because of the sacrifices I made. I'm proud even if it's not perfect. Goodluck to everyone, like seeds, they don't become plants in a day it takes time. My english is off sorry bout that
Same
Lmaoo dont worry keep playing 5 min or so everyday n u get good
I mean, that's the right attitude...
HHAHAHA. same
