    I had mine today 8/20/24 , the physician was great no problems with a total 10 needles 5 in two spots, not a big deal for me personally I'm sorry others have had issues. But don't put off your health 🙏🙏

      I'm so glad to hear that! My first biopsy was fine, it was my second one that was awful. I now know to plan to take the rest of the day off after a biopsy, if needed.

    Why was the biopsy terrible

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  Рік тому

      the technician did a terrible job, poking in the wrong spots and having to way more jabs than needed. I ended up in severe pain afterwards with bruising on my neck -- barely able to move my neck.

      I'm always fatigued. I was diagnosed with systemic sarcoidosis. As a result I have heart issues, lung, liver,spleen, and colon issues as well. I'm hoping to try going vegan in hopes of trying to save my life. I went from 160 to 122 in a year. Not that I was trying, I can't eat normal portions. Thank you for responding and listening g to me. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. I hope you are feeling better.

    My guess is that finding is named follicular neoplasm.
    Out of the statistics, for every 100 tumors removed, 17 are cancerous 80 are adenomas (benign) and 3 are colloid nodules incorrectly diagnosed as neoplasms. So,
    get the second opinion from the different cytologist, keeping in mind that: no abnormal lymph nodes favor benign results; in some cases when large blood vessel is hit, the blood displaces the watery colloid and the result is erroneously classified as neoplasm due to the scant colloid.
    Most experts suggest getting a second opinion. If the tumor is indeed benign, it can be treated with PEI injector or radio frequency (microwave) ablation.
    Best!!

    Hey Jeannine... I'm sorry your results weren't better. I'm happy to hear that the chance of it being cancer is relatively low. Wishing you all the very best in the next 6 months to try to shrink and/or reverse the growth!! You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a better biopsy next time! If you can do it, then I say go fully raw. Good thing is that we are coming into the perfect season(s) for a trial run. Another option might be to do coffee enemas... I had a "hot" nodule in my thyroid 12 yrs. ago. Size of a walnut. It was treated with radioactive iodine (1 little pill) which killed my thyroid function completely. I take synthroid every day now and will till the day I die. I wasn't given any other options. I think we all agree that going fully raw is the ideal (I've never been able to commit) and we'll cheer you on whatever you decide.

      @PotatoWisdom  6 років тому

      Oh I see, no nothing like that but I had severe hypothryoidism and it's standard practice to get a thyroid ultrasound to look for nodules. I have a couple of larger nodules that my doctor wanted a closer look at to rule out cancer.

    I am so glad that you shared your story. I had a bio. (Cannot spell it right now) for a thyroid nodule today. Oh my God it was awful! I had some abnormal cells removed from my cervix that had become precancerous, oral surgery, and a core bio. That you are knocked our for ( turned out to be calisfications- spelling again and not cancerous, and an ALC tear, NONE of this compares to the hell that I went through today. Yes, I had the stinging when the lidocaine was put in- hurt a little, the bio. Was not bad just pressure and pulling. When the needle was taken out, I got all shaky and starting sweating. It got worse. I remember saying , " UH, OH ". I woke up and the sonogram Dr. And the bio. Dr. Had my legs up in the air. One percent of the patients faint. I went into a recovery room and an hour later my blood pressure is still at 86. Then, it goes to 96. 2 hours later, I call the hubby to come get me. I slept for four hours straight! Plus, during all of this fun- our air conditioner crapped out- we have been in our house for 30 years. In Austin, Texas it is in the 90's now and low 70's at night. So, I had to drive my self to the doctor while everything in our HVAC was being ripped out. Anyway, my throats still hurts. I find out my results Tuesday. If anything is funny- I am having my Thyroid taken out! Man, that bio. was rough. I have never experienced anything like this! I am going to watch your other videos. I hope that your outcome is good, as I am halfway through your video. I totally feel for what you went through. Even when, I fractured my collar bone- I did not have all of this drama.

      So glad to hear it's not just me that had a traumatic biopsy experience, uggg.. it was horrible. I hope yours turns out to be good news. Getting surgery is not something I'm willing to do - it's my absolute last resort.

    I am in the same boat. I have to get another biopsy. First biopsy came back as Suspicious for Folicular Neoplasm. When you get your biopsy again ask for genetic sequencing. Ask for these two types of genetic sequencing, Afirma Veracyte and ThyroSeq 3. If it does come back benign you can also look into Radiofrequency ablation at johns jopkins, mayo clinic, columbia univ. Give us an update of what happened. Thank you and God Bless

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  4 роки тому

      I just want to sincerely thank you for sharing this, I had no idea about genetic sequencing. I will ask about that next time. My doctor at the time (I've moved 3000 miles away since then) suggested I get my nodule removed but I refused... then moved not long after so it took a while for me to find another Endo. The new doctor had me get another biopsy, but the results were inconclusive (not enough tissue sample). They want me to go back YET again but I'm so done with this.

    Man I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't get the news you were hoping for. After your last video I was worried since you didn't mention good or bad news but you mentioned they called and wanted to speak with you. I completely agree with your logic. I would do the exact same and treat it as if I had cancer and go fully raw. I've read a lot of stories about wheat grass juice everyday as well really helps. I was in your same boat just a month ago. I have a nodule in my lung that was found back in 2009. I hadn't had it x-rayed since 2011 so I decided to get one when I was getting routine blood work back in February. results came back that is was 12 mm and my heart sunk because I believed that the previous size was only 2.6mm. I was at a different provider so they couldn't compare the results. In the days waiting for them to get the old X-rays I was thinking my life was about to be turned upside down, I have to go fully raw, do I move south to warm weather, you know all those things that ar

      I am not able to rewatch this video right now and forget everything I talked about but I do remember the situation: I ended up just leaving it alone. Recently I had another biopsy done but they weren't able to get enough tissue. I'm at the point where I really am not worried about it. If it's cancer, it's not doing much... just sitting there with very minimal growth.

    I'd probably do as much raw unprocessed as I could. Do you take iodine? My doc told me my TSH has more than doubled in the last year and is doing a blood thryoid panel at the end of this month. In the meantime, she told me to start taking a minimal dose of iodine daily. Such conflicting info one the iodine supplementation!

    Unbelievably stressful place to be. So sorry for your suffering. First, please do not assume that cancer is inevitable. Everyone has abnormal cell activity in the body. We are all constantly killing off these potential cancers. Sometimes the body becomes overwhelmed & the cancer is able to manifest - but know that this is less often the case as the body has been dealing with potential cancer your whole life. The odds are extremely good that it won't manifest into cancer. Hear what the doctor said - 15% chance of cancer means 85% chance it won't happen!
    Next, keep in mind that the same natural treatments to kill cancer are the same as prevents cancer. I recommend you watch the youtube film "Cancer: The Forbidden Cures." Then go to ChrisBeatCancer.com and watch all the testimonials, eat his recipes & read his whole site. This will help you make the big decisions much easier. Knowledge is power. So is human emotion, so take heart in the fact that your friends & fans are out here holding you in a vision of excellent health. Feel those good vibes.
    And drop the stress like a hot rock. Check those resources to find out how to change your emotional state in a snap. All the best to you.

    I am so sorry you didn't get good news. Very hard decisions. I would do the fully raw route I think. Gerson style. I also think that our position directly west of Fukushima puts us at a disadvantage from the fallout.

    My boyfriend and I have actually talked about if either of us happened to develop cancer, that we would go fully raw as an option. I believe my diet now is super healthy, but think that going raw may be beneficial to a healing process.
    I think the best thing for you to do is to just do as much research as you can. There is a lot of pseudo science out there, so be careful.

I would try and think really positive....that yes the cells have turned abnormal and could become cancerous but do everything possible to stop it from happening. I'd get those veggies in by juicing every morning. After reading "how not to die" I use a bit of my green juice and blend in half a teaspoon of turmeric and a slice of avocado (the fat makes the turmeric work much better). Turmeric has anti cancer benefits and my little turmeric smoothie tastes delicious too. Definitely get your copy out and read it. Some good simple tips in there.

    Yes please consider healing with food!! My thyroid was removed (first one half, then the other, because I was diagnosed with cancer). I wish I knew then what I know now!! I would definitely try the 'food is thy medicine route'! I take a pill daily now and sometimes still feel sad about not being able to get off those meds, because with no thyroid that's just not an option. In the end it's your decision. But if you want to chat more on this, let me know. Best, Rieta

    I would it, do biopsy in 3 or 6 month (you know that i know what i'm talking about :D) but i would do it, the problem with biopsy is because the first one we don't know what is going to happen, we are stressed out but it's easier!! the second one we remember the pain, that's the problem! you have to try meditate
    Your eating is already good, i'm not sure raw only, is really good, at least you have to love what you're eating, feel good about it, myself i need rice, potatoes,oats, nuts etc love cooked food too !!! :D
    And meditation everyday, and yogaaa!!! then when the biopsy comes it will be easier to fight the stress and the pain
    one step at a time !! take care

      +KerstenWe are thinking of moving to the US at some point, my husband is American... my main motivation for that is cheaper cost of living and the option to choose to live somewhere with more sun and FRUIT! This thyroid thing is motivating to move sooner than later. We shale see! Thank you so much for sharing your story!

    I would treat it as cancer. Why not? Check out Gearson Therapy. There is a book that explains their protocol - and lots of info online. All I really know is lots of juices and coffee enemas. And raw foods.

    I would have it removed because if it is It might spread somewhere else

    Yes, I. Think that monitoring the thyroid is good. I waited with my cervix for 15 years until the cells from the paps and the bio went from abnormal to precancerous. Then, I had the surgery. None of this take half if it out. When it is time, it is time. Then, I would get the whole thyroid taken out. I wish that you were in Austin, Texas. I would take you to my Endo. and thyroid dr. Still wish that you would reconsider the mammogram- but I will not bug you about this issue again. Now, to watch that Potato Diet that you have shared.

    I'm so sorry you didn't get better news. I would combat this on all fronts. Obviously a good diet is super important. You've been vegan for 4 years? And it seems like you pretty much avoid the processed vegan foods. And yet this thyroid growth has gotten a bit worse in the last 8 years. That is something to think about. What I would do: clean up my diet as much as possible, keep up with the exercise, get good sleep, and not shun allopathic medicine, and get a second opinion. I wouldn't want to play around with a potential, however small, cancer diagnosis. My mom goes to a endochronoligist that I'm quite impressed with. He was actually the one that turned us onto a vegan diet way of life. If you are interested, I'll give you his name. His office is in Burnaby. FYI

      +Banana Wisdom his name is, Dr Aram Shahparaki. If I ever need the services of an endo, I'd be getting a referral to him.

    So sorry for the ongoing health issues. crazy bodies we have. First thing I would do is search nutritionfacts.org. And basically any of the foods talked about there as fighting cancer are good to have as a regular part of anyone's diet.

    Sorry to hear you didn't get the news you were hoping for. I would do all I could to eat the cleanest I could and raw or mostly raw would probably be best...no processed foods. I wouldn't over stress your body with too much strenuous exercise either...just a thought. Sending good thoughts❤️

    Magnet therapy with the south end down, ceramic or neodymium, as close to 24 hrs/day as possible? That's how William H Philpott cured his wife's melanoma. None of our Internet Cures sound easy or convenient at all. =/ I always thought I would do Rick Simpson cannabis oil, but being high all the time would be terrible. I don't know you and I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

    Gosh I have questions for you! I have nodules on both sides right & left with flecks on the left side. Why in the world do they want to do a biopsy? I was worried & now I wonder if there is any real point to it. I'm a carrier of breast cancer & have went through 1 single & another double biopsy & maybe that's why I see it pointless, no cancer so far! what's your thought

    • @PotatoWisdom
      @PotatoWisdom  8 років тому

      They wanted to do a biopsy because it has grown (a small amount though) since my last thyroid ultrasound. When I was first diagnosed with Hashimoto's they tested my largest nodule to rule out cancer, but they weren't able to rule it out... so they did the wait and see thing. It's still very small, maybe the size of a small grape.. or blueberry? As long as they check it every couple of years with an ultrasound and nothing changes you shouldn't have cause to worry too much about it. I hope that helps

      +Banana Wisdom It does thank you! I have went back & fourth thinking how pointless this is going to be but then again, maybe not so much! Thank you very much & I hope all is well!!!
