As a woman, watching little girls walk around with the word, "Juicy" or whatever on their asses really showed me that we were going backwards. And now women have lost abortive control of their pregnancies in several states. Children, recognize it ain't always been so easy as you have it. Continue the work of your elders, don't deny it, dismiss it, and take it for granted.

I remember a time when I was going to one or two funerals a week, and hearing about many more every week that I missed. In all that pain, there was power, love, laughter, joy, and most of all HOPE. Cling to hope, and it will keep you alive. Without it, all is lost.
In the early 1970s, my college friend came out. Three of us would cruise around Times Square and go site seeing (and you know what was going on in that area in the 70s)! After graduation we all drifted apart. We were in our early thirties in the 1980s. That was the decade I found out what became of him. I was shocked to find my college friend's name and a sizeable bio about him on the obituary page in the local newspaper.
Oh how I remember clearly. I also remember I had two black dresses that I seemed to wear a lot. It seemed as though St. Vincent and Bellevue were my other homes. I have lost so many of my friends. Young gays have some much to be Thankful for...

To be fair, you're excluding all of the important parts of the show. As it is right now, MTV's just capitalizing on the show being popular and cutting off all of the stuff that makes it impactful for the world to see. This show is not only about being entertaining, it's also a big educational part of the show that gets lost with the current cut of it.

I honestly thought she could of been like Kerri (no shade) but just a looks queen who’s scared to get ugly for Challenges etc but god has she proved me wrong, she’s slaying it in the challenges and the runway and she’s a genuinely nice person too, she’s got the TP. It is truly incredible that Robert is living such a joyous life as he was diagnosed so you & so many of his family die. All of them are marvelous. They have so many videos on UA-cam. It's a Sin is a incredible BBC show by Russell Davies (creator of the original Queer as Folk) depicting the AIDS crisis in 80s amongst a family of friends.
Hearing Robert talking about how all his friends he knew throughout his life have died and that he's the only one of them left broke my heart but I'm so happy that he's gained three new friends in Bill, Jessay, and Mick
I think it would be a great challenge for the girls to each have and old gay to put in drag. It would be a hootenanany episode one to remember . Especially if they had to lipsink for their lives what a joy it would be for them and all of us .

We, as a lgbtq+ community, need to understand the importance and significance of the gay/trans people who’ve paved the way for all of us. I lived through the AIDS crisis as a teen and the gay underground movement that was happening. I applaud and respect these men and am glad they were willing to share their stories. We all need more of this.
