they need to bring back STI, though VB owners like my wife will say how great the FA24 engine is (which it is, one of the best Subaru has made), they forget STI owners don't buy it for straightline power, they buy the STI for handling and track capabilities. STI has front LSD, center active DCCD diff, and rear LSD. VB ain't it, with open front diff and open rear diff with electronic brakepad vectoring straight from the Crosstrek and Forester.
Please post a video of the way they cut the inside of the trunk up for the wing. Like the cutouts for the bolts, I’ve seen some brand new trunks with the aeroflow dynamics wing completely butchered up lol
@@Goubs04 I'm getting it done at Killian window tinting at Taylor's Beach ( Nelson bay area). They're using Xpel prime XR ceramic tint. I looked up the tint brand and reviews online are good. Also decided to get it done independently from a business that just specialises in window tinting. My logic is they'll probably do a better job as that's what their entire business is based as opposed to a contractor company hired by dealership. Also you can see google reviews for the business. It worked out cheaper too than the quote dealership provided.
@@Goubs04 I like the stock styling with the black paint, the plastic trim looks good with the black car. With white car, have a look at Seibon carbon, they make real carbon fibre replacements for the plastic guard trim. I think that would look great with the contrast on a white car. If you go with that route, they might have better styling options for the rest of the car opposed to the STI styling pack. You can't go wrong either way, it be a personal choice what you like best.
@@dishonestpanda-1106 Hey sorry I was wrong, I had a better look, there's two bolts (marked with a number 4) on either side that secure the trunk in place when you open the trunk. These bolts appear to also go through the trunk into the wing. I can't see any other way they would be secured. Hope that helps.
Still prefer the look of the VA to be honest, but this doesn’t look too bad to be fair. Is the Club Spec only offered in manual or is it also offered with the CVT.
That's also a great car but only comes in front wheel drive. This has AWD, superior brakes and more capable engine. Plus it has a rally heritage and in the past was also used by NSW Police for its handling capabilities, which have significantly improved over the years.
Black works so well with all the black plastic bits. Nice one.
i was thinking the same. i thought at first this was a model with painted fairings
Thanks, yeah it suits it well
@@iggysmallsproductions3391 your video made me put an order for a grey over the weekend (black sold out). Should see it next month.
@@JW-sm5hv Awesome! Congratulations, you'll love it. Grey will look great as well.
Looks awesome, best colour too.
Love it. We are 17/150. Same colour!
Love the look of these rims, i think Subaru nailed it with the design this time
Nah they still ugly. The 18-19 STI black ones had the best look.
@@AntilleanConfederationi liked those too. But each to their own i guess
Yep agreed, really happy they came up with this design.
beautiful car, best looking WRX to date, LOVE the rear BRZ-ish tail lights.
Thanks, yeah the tail lights look awesome at night too.
Man. Wish they had this spec and factory wing on them here in Canada.

Love it in black, looks awsome. Im picking mine up this arvo number 95, Rally Blue.
Excited.
Great news, congratulations!
Looks great 😊 congratulations
Thanks!
A nice new Club Spec, i look forward to more vids Please 👍 nsw
Yep, for sure!
Looks good

OMG looks so good😮 love it
is that the same with STI Wing spoiler?
In B4 all the “is not a STI take the wing off”. Car came factory with a wing.
Beautiful car, does it have electric front drivers' side Recaro like the TR and usb outlets behind the Centre console?
No USB outlets behind the centre console but the drivers side Recoro is electric.
Congrats mate, looks amazing. What are your thoughts on the Styling pack with it?
I love it, the only thing I'll change later on is the front grill. Already booked in for window tinting. That's all I'll do styling wise.
Sorry I meant the STI Styling pack the dealers offer, comes in black or cherry, goes all around the car, did you considering adding it?
Where will you get the tint done? Didn’t want the dealer doing it? Asking as I am getting a white one and trying to decide all these things.

I have the american version which is the tr without the wing are you able to take a picture of how the wing is mounted underneath
I had a quick look just now and the upholstery is covering up how it's mounted from underneath. I don't want to be taking off the upholstery.
@@iggysmallsproductions3391 All the bolts are covered by the upolstery?

@@dishonestpanda-1106 it’s a panel held in place by pop clips. Very simple to remove & re-attach. The wing is bolted onto the boot lid.
Please post some more vids. Not sure about the YT algorithm, but your video are the only aussie vids showing up on my search.
Will do!
Nice video brah
We'll make one for yours too lol
need the part # of the third brake light :)
No idea, it's OEM how it came from dealership.
@@iggysmallsproductions3391 any chance you can contact the dealer to get the part number? I ordered a TR in the US and would love the OEM version.

Only manual.
is it your daily also for winter?
Is the Wing a oem factory option? Cheers
All the Club Spec's (150) came with the wing OEM from factory.
do i need to change the rims also when i change my tires for winter?
Don't need winter tyres here in Australia, doesn't get that cold to need them.
Almost an STi.
No lag?. lol. As soon as he touches the setting, it lags
Why did you choose this over i30 sedan N?

Does sat nav come with club spec, or was that extra add on?
There's no sat nav built in or option to add on. It's got wireless android auto. Uses my phone's sat nav and displays it on the screen.
WTF am I still waiting for mine?
I feel the wing doesn’t suit the rear end design of this model.
my dream car 😍
One day....
I Love sedans. SUV"s are overrated.
