Thanks for sharing so much about traditional Garlic culture, Lara.
My mom is an O'Brien, so it means even more.

Hi Lora, thank you for sharing all of this. So much started to make sense to me when I started reading and learning more about our history and pagan heritage. As a child I didn't read any of the legends and was raised Catholic. As an adult I can make my own choices and I'm definitely exercising that right!! Thanks again. You are doing good work. This video dropped just as I was going out to trim the grass around my fire pit for tonight's fire. I live in the city, and put fire safety first. And I'm in America, and most definitely recognize the difference in how I do my burns. Tonight I'll have a small hot fire, dispose of things that need to be sent up in smoke, leave some good offerings under my Good Neighbors' tree. Tomorrow, I'll take some of the ash to scatter at the cross roads, and some will go into my compost for my container garden. Adaptations have to be made. But thank you for this, I very much enjoy learning where it comes from at it's roots, and take something from all the stories you share.

Bones have phosphorus (and calcium) which is the most important nutrient needed for flowering and fruiting.
Plants breathe nutrients thru their leaves.
I wonder if the smoke from celebrations thru out the whole island gave homeopathic levels of phosphorous.

St Johns night is a great excuse to burn hedge trimmings & tidying bits etc.. around Mayo.

I’ve been struggling this week and you’ve really hit the nail on the head; it is a combination of my own trauma and ancestral trauma. There is nothing to be ashamed of in connecting with old Irish tradition and modern living Irish pagan practice. It’s not silly or strange or nonsense. Thank you so much for all your work you offer to the community. Go raibh maith agat!

Midsummer blessing to you. Thank you for adding to my purpose today; taking "ownership" of my ailing mother's house; summer cleaning if you will. Lol although I live in a small town of 327 I have to play it safe and use a metal bucket I found in my mother's "stuff". I would like to dedicate a chokecherry tree to the good neighbors as well. I was wondering if and how Brigitte may be involved in Celtic spirituality and lore.
