One of the things I appreciate most about Her, is the way She hands my ass right back to me. It's very easy to become complacent and pat yourself on the back for the work you've done so far. There is always more to do, more that is asked, and that is how it should be.

Diolch yn fawr iawn. Thank you very, very much, Lora. I have been a Pagan nearly 40 years, and The Morrigan first overshadowed me unexpectedly at Samhain 1984. She knew that I would have need of Her in the years to come, and boy, did I! She has been a constant presence in my life ever since, to challenge and to strengthen; to comfort and to kick my arse when necessary. She is demanding, uncompromising, protective, wise and powerful. Hearing you speak Her words resonated with me so deeply, it was incredible. Thank you for sharing such a powerful message.

I play a lot of the ips videos while I do household things, and I physically had to stop doing dishes to sit down on my kitchen floor and just cry to this one. I listened to this and read along and Wow i wanted to cry, and I felt what they call it in Hawaii Chicken skin, more commonly called goose pimples. And then I Realized, Oh this is what it is all based in. And why you and John say place is everything language is everything. And i wanted to cry because I am so horrible with languages, And I am so far from place. And I realized, That what has drawn me to this is not so much fitting in but finding the source. And then it occured to me that easy was never going to gain Herselfs respect, and she does offer both the lesson and the map, you just have to love yourself enough to actually do the work. I am currently dealing with health issues Diabetes, and Cancer, and both were genetic dispositions, and there is a solution to both, I just need to take care of myself enough to do it. She did tell me once to fucking get the hell over myself lol and she would not tell me who she was just told me to keep moving and I will figure it out. I think I figured it out. Thank you for sharing. I love that you and John are both willing to be honest and stand in yourselves.

I don't know what you think of men being involved in what you're involved in especially American men, but it feels like I had an encounter with The Morrigan recently. A lot of it is too lengthy and involved to get into here, but occurred several days before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the timing of which I didn't understand until about a week later.
I had a pair of ravens visit my back yard on several occasions which never happened before...ever. So I fed them some scraps of meat and they returned several times. Prior to that I had just finished the last book (not in order) of the Mists of Avalon series entitled The Ravens of Avalon on the life of Boudica, so that lent some meaning to what I think I experienced.
I recently started working with The Great Queen and Badb (and Nemain and Dagda). My Badb work is all about divination work (of course). I haven’t had much interaction with the others, BUT kind of like my first big assignment/test from Herself is a ritual involving Russia and what’s going on with Ukraine. I’ve learned that Deity works through us in order to affect change in our world. And I’m curious, has anyone else been prompted by The Morrigan to intercede in some way on this issue?
