Thank you for sharing. I use the same cast bullet in my Ruger super Blackhawk 44 mag that I bought over 40 years ago. I have put well over 20,000 rounds through it. I also have a Ruger 77/44 and a Winchester 94, with a 16" barrel and a Marlin 1894 carbine with a 20 inch barrel. They are all great fun to shoot. The Marlin has put enough venison on the table to pay for all of them.
Hi Rick. Thanks for stopping by and sharing all that. In my lever collection lives my first one, a Win M94 that I bought back in the late 70’s . 😀🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Good morning viejo that’s a beautiful combination of 44s any young cowboy back in the day would’ve been proud to have that rifle hanging in his saddle. And that cowboy action six shooter on his side. 👍👍👍👍👍🎯🎯🎯🎯
I enjoy my Big Boy rifles immensely! They are fun plinkers and always turn heads when I get them out. Good to see you making use of yours! Thanks for sharing as always.
Big thumbs up 👍 for Henry. I have two...357 Silver (discontinued) and 45 Colt side load. Both paired with S&W 357 and Ruger 45 Colt Vaquero. None have ever seen factory ammo! 👊😎
Thank you, Sir. The final episode in this series..next month some time, will be with my 45 Colt Henry. Mine was purchased before the side gate was an option. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
👍Nice looking Henry, I don't own one, but maybe someday. I really liked the SBH color case hardening, I didn't even know they made them. I have a blued SBH and enjoy taking it out once in a while as well. 🇺🇸🦅🤠
Good looking pair!! Lever action is on my shorter list on my lists of things I want to get. Henry is at the top of my lever action list. I like them, sir!!
Thanks so much, Chad. I appreciate your comments. I know how busy you are. The Henrys are a lot of fun, for sure. All the newer ones are side-gate as well as tube-loading which is really nice. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
@viejo2a Yes, if I hadn't spent so much on the bolt action I was really looking at one them. Ran out of funds finishing my build tho 🤣 Someday I will be adding one to the collection. Heading down to check chrono speeds and groups on the Berger and Hornady ammo I have to decide which I'll try the match with. After I get thru this match, I'll be ready to start working my own loads up finally. I have too many projects and not nearly enough time!! Have a great week, Walter!
@@ChadKelly7 boy howdy! I fully understand the concept of having so many projects in the pipe. And I’m RETIRED! I don’t know how you get as much done as you do. Trust me though.. don’t try to spend time and/or money NOW as though you were retired. Hard work on the job now will reap many more benefits later than playing hard now ever will. Keep after it, Amigo. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
@viejo2a Good advice. I have a few goals I want to hit by certain times. I like putting more on my shoulders than I can carry. If I have 1 or 2 thing to do in a day, I'll slack and take all day on them. I give myself more to do than I can possibly physically actually do, I get so much more done. Rather do a lot every day than just a few things. I'm weird, I like working hard 🤣
Thanks for watching Six. The club has a Lead Sled, but it’s the lightweight cheesy version. I’ve got the heavy one, and will probably take it with me next time. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Hey how's it going? Yes I own one of those Henry Big Boy 44. Reloaded a couple of boxes with H110 and smasher Missouri Bullet Company bullets. They seem to shoot nicely. Love the blackhawk nice pairing of the two. Thanks for the video Walter.
Nice looking Henry, and Ruger. I have a Super Blackhawk, but it`s stainless I had to put a rubber grip on my Blackhawk, that squared off trigger guard kept biting my finger
SST is right that block was shaky. Love the SBH, got My first in 1976. Got another a 10 1/2" heavy bbl for Silhouette. Later cut down to 5 1/2" for holster carry. Great SA's.
Thanks for stopping by, Lawrence. I’m waiting for Henry to come out with a 41 Mag in the side gate version. 327 Fed is still in the “classic” non+side gate form as well. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Walter,, Oh... I know where there is a 1950 5-screw Smith & Wesson .44 special (Target) model.. It is eating away at me to just pull the trigger a go buy it.. It would be a nice pistol teamed up with some .44 wad-cutter's I have. Idk,, maybe I'll get it. anyway, Nice video - Dave
What a beautiful set! The color case hardening on the Blackhawk is spectacular. It took some time for 44 to grow on me, but it's definitely a favorite at this point.
Thanks so much my friend. The 44 family is so fun. We can load 44 Russian, 44 Special and 44 Mag and shoot them all out of the same firearms. We can even use the same bullets in 44 WCF. Lots of versatility. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Thanks, Len. Yes..the outfit that does that color case hardening also applies a lacquer coat to protect it. This particular piece was very well done. The grips are exceptional for Ruger as well. Thanks for taking time to watch and comment! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Excellent pieces Walter. The blended powder coating is fantastic. Looks like copper coated. Take care
Thanks so much, RAM. I hope that all is well with you. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸🇲🇹
WooHoo!!!!! 44 baby O yeah you know I love my 44's couple of fine ones right there thanks for sharing
Yep..I knew you’d appreciate a couple o’ 44’s! Thanks for stopping by, Scotsman! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
Beautiful firearms brother! 🤠👍 Great trigger pulls, and knockout case coloring!
Thanks Ron. Those are both fun guns. I really do need to shoot the Henrys more often. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

Thanks Duffer. Agreed. The trigger guard grabs me too. If I’m going to shoot very many, I have to glove-up. Same with some of my Glocks.
Both beautiful guns! That case colored Blackhawk is spectacular! I recognize that bullet! Great video Viejo!
Thanks Marc. It is a fav bullet for many, and for good reason! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

Thanks for checking in, Walks. Yup..it’s hard to beat the SBH/ 429421 combination for fun! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

Just go buy it Dave! For pete’s sake. I’ve got some big 44 wadcutters cast up, too. Haven’t shot them yet tho.

Good day Viejo! Another great day getting out to the range! If we could all just have an extra camera operator it would sure make things easier.
Thanks Mike! Yeah.. my camera work leaves much to be desired, not to mention the cameras themselves. Maybe a telephoto unit some day! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸🇨🇦
Awesome pair Walter. Looks like the shooting pretty well.
Thanks James 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
