Hi, icelandic person here, Here's why the sheep are in a group of three most of the time: Sheep are bred in the winter and released in the summer, but if a sheep has more than two babies, the mother won't have enough nipples to feed them milk, so that 3rd sheep is taken and given to another mother that only got one baby, so every summer they're released in a group of three. So now you know why it's a trend in the sheep society. Awesome vid by the way.
These are specifically cube corner retroreflectors which means that they send the signal directly back to the sources from a wide angle in front of it. They can be used to tune the instruments on satellites or measure tiny changes in distance. We even left some of these on the moon and use radar astronomy and radio telescopes to measure the moon drift to amazing detail.
66tbird1 your absolutely right. We have the same thing in parts of Alberta where we pump oil out if the ground through means of steam injection. They measure ground movement.
This is the *Real* life you are so blessed I hope you are enjoying it and not everyone can do what they want to do in their lives. I feel good for you and video is great.
TheBlazingVibes Don't be that guy? If the person can't express feelings properly and mind you this is a writing and not real life without gestures to guide what the person is really feeling. It should be fair to point out people unable to express themselves. No need to fucking goat someone's inability.
This series of videos from Iceland is the best thing going on youtube right now. I'm 25% Icelander and I've always wanted to see the country. Thanks for the tour.
I thought that I had some of the most beautiful landscape. Iceland just seems to have put it all in one place. Thanks for taking us along. I look forward to the next installment.
This channel, and man are going places. Never knew about this sport until I watched Tuckers videos. His level of professionalism and stewardship towards the sport is refreshing. I expect Tucker to be in movies, fly for redbull, and most likely be interviewed on various TV shows. Thanks for the positive clean, and informative entertainment.
Been following you for a little while now and I just can't get enough of your videos! I have created a bucket list and Paramotoring is now firmly placed on it. Great videos, good quality and a really relaxing voice to talk through it all. 388,000 subscribers at the time of this post....great going pal, keep it up.
WOW that was totally amazing! I shared it with all my friends. That was by far your best video... I have been watching them from when you started uploading them.
I love your description that the volcano's and green hills are like someone threw green paint over black rock. The sheep could be in threes because it's mum, dad, and kid. Great watching and listening to you. Thank you.
Beautiful footage! I never got the chance to go to Iceland when I lived in northern Germany in the late 80's. Thank you for filling a blank spot in my world travels.
Best vid on this channel ! I recently went to Iceland so it’s awesome that this video exists so I can be excited that there is someone else that went to Iceland because Iceland is awesome !
Beautiful video, I've been lucky enough to fly in a prop plane a few times close to mountain peaks and glaciers. The shear beauty will leave you speechless. I can only imagine that flying in a paramotor is even more thrilling as you are outside with the elements.
I remember drinking out of one of the rivers when I lived in Iceland. It was an awesome feeling hiking around a waterfall and then just drinking some water from the same waterfall
You need one of those 100W flexible solar panels so you can charge your devices when you're out in the wild. Also get a 20,000 Mah storage battery that you can recharge when you are near plugins and use it to recharge all your other things when you need it. No more GoPro batteries being dead.. In Iceland there are 3 times as many sheep as people. They roam freely throughout the island, across roads, etc. They are not wild animals though, they are owned by different farmers. In September every year they have Rettir - the annual sheep roundup and farmers invite anyone who is interested to come and help with the roundup. It takes most of the month of September and into October to round them all up.
The only people who thumb down these videos are the ones who are jealous they are not in your shoes. If people like this would only try it for themselves they would be changing their ATTITUDES quickly! Cheers mate!
amazing landscapes, amazing videos, really appreciate you sharing. great to see a paramotor is being used for purpose rather than just fly around the local community.
My fave channel. Morning java, and your clips every morn. As you say, rad. Can't get enough, so don't die. Once I know wtf I'm doing with my paraglider, (6 flight only), I'll definitely follow - a specific training of curse ;~) - then your Icelandic path with a motor on my back. Wonderful shots!
Triangular thingys: They are feeders with a wind vane cover. Likely whatever the animal out there that is owned by ranchers have these feed stations (thus the road) and the cover is moved around by the wind the point moving into the wind and keeping the feed dry
Hi Tucker, you have been my inspiration to learn to fly paramotors Dude. Today I took my 4th flight, this time without comms, so no instruction from the ground. Epic! What gloves are you flying with? Keep up the with the great videos. I constantly check my UA-cam for new videos from you, Woody and Kyle.
+Christopher Clegg That's awesome man, congrats!! I'm not sure about these gloves, they're made by under armor but I wouldn't recommend them for flying.
Trap pokemon plus they are optimized for the phones native pixel resolution. I've taken photos of things that were relatively close up, and when viewed on a 23 inch monitor, even at 4K the pictures don't stretch well without noticeable pixelation.
Agreed. Modern phones take AWESOME pictures for web use, but when you blow them up for print they fall apart. Even if he picked up a Canon T3i (cheap, high MP, easy to use on auto settings) the photos would be 10x better. Plus the benefit of .raw!
wow... my favorite of yours so far. Amazing. Didn't you have a trail behind cam? It would have been awesome to see your Paramotor with the Volcano in the background. Posterboy
Awesome videos the past few days Tucker.. keep up the good work man.. upload upload upload! I feel that you should have way more subs than you have currently but.. itll happen Im sure.. Youve deff inspired me to try a paramotor!.. and to get proper training. So thanks for that and gnarly videos!!
I sort of agree. In fact, I’m going to paramotor training in about a month. But I found paramotors because I was watching videos about jet packs, and as a kid I totally thought everyone would have one by now. We’re not even close to that though. The future was supposed to be jet packs, space travel and robots. Instead we got Twitter.
6 more weeks and I’ll be taking my first flight at Aviator PPG. I can’t even watch Tucker’s videos at this point. I get too damn anxious. Like a lot of people though, I’d watch his videos and feel a deep need to have this in my life. It calls to you and gets under your skin
Would be sick to figure out a clever way to tap into the motor's power to be able to charge in the air. Cheers Tucker, I'm definitely going to get trained and get flying thanks to these videos. Keep sending it dude!
Check out my Instagram @tuckergott for some crispy Iceland photos. The next episode includes the iconic DC-3 plane wreck, stay tuned!
Tucker Gott how much did your motor cost
Tucker Gott I am first!!!!!!!!!! Except for you.....
Tucker Gott wasup
Tucker Gott love the vids

Nailed it! Thanks for the explanation!
Tucker Gott no problem!
Billy Man sheep with is dual Sheep Bitches !!
Aprille . . . you clearly missed the part where it was stated it is one MOTHER with her two KIDS . . .
@Ben Dover :)
Your Videos give me travel-vibes as hell! It's so relaxing just watching you flying around. So cool.
Thanks for doing that stuff :D
I believe the triangle things are radar reflectors for measuring if the ground has moved.
That actually kinda makes sense!
Pretty sure that's right, just image search "corner reflector iceland".

Because there is a lot of earthquakes in Iceland

Also you should have a show on the travel channel. I would watch.
That's a great idea

Im 24, and just TODAY saw your videos. I never heard of a Paramotor before. I need to try this out. This is just wonderful.
Thank you.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite UA-cam channels. Keep it up!
Yes, yes, yes to the posters!
It would be awesome if you could show those still shots you're taking in the video.
Even though your videos are like 20 minutes each, they fly super fast. Listening to you narrate and fly is therapeutic!
Tucker can you please put links in your videos to download some of the photos you take?
Max Kline that would be really nice! I guess his IG is the way to go
Maybe a stupid question, but if you are scared of getting disoriented or lost, why do you not use GPS?
Eriker Xangam Ragnarok maybe there isn't connection over there idk
One without WiFi the ones that use coordinates
afaik GPS covers the hole globe and if you don't have an internetconnection you could use offline maps
Eriker Xangam Ragnarok he seems to be able learn his way around an area pretty well
He should probably just have a compass so he could remember his bearings back
Beautiful footage! I never got the chance to go to Iceland when I lived in northern Germany in the late 80's. Thank you for filling a blank spot in my world travels.
Great Job Tucker. A lot of the scenery looks like New Zealand, especially South Island. Thank-you for the ride!
Dude, your videos are amazing. Definitely in the top 10 Channels on UA-cam. Keep at it and stay safe.
You should head over to Greenland for a day trip
Hahaha just head over to Greenland from Iceland like it's no big deal!
Andrew it is actually not so far away only about 300 km or 186 miles
Andrew maybe not for a day trip but maybe for a week
Best vid on this channel ! I recently went to Iceland so it’s awesome that this video exists so I can be excited that there is someone else that went to Iceland because Iceland is awesome !
Lovely shots of Iceland , epic adventure .
Amazing footage! I love the narration and concern for safety. TY for sharing your adventures!
Beautiful country, and so remote! Thanks for the ride Tucker 🤙🤙🙃😁
I can easily fall asleep watching these videos. So soothing
Posters!!! A picture like that would go straight in my room. The more I watch your channel the more I want to get into this

Ron Smith thanks I don't think Kex(above) got the humor! Footage definitely beats a big Mac
Iceland. Wow. You are serious. You are going to be syndicated, in my opinion.
Your abilities cannot go unnoticed.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!
Welcome to Iceland! :D

Ps. And to answer your question about the billy sheep, most sheep have two lambs each summer.

New favorite video of yours.. Love you dude! and I am very interested in your posters!
I'll bet the moss was heavenly to sleep on. Especially with a couple of burgers in your belly and a day spent making lifelong memories with friends 🤙
Tucker! Totally epic video...Great Iceland series!
I can’t stop watching these videos! Amazing. You should get a professional camera for pictures. I WOULD BUY PRINTS! Keep it up bro!
The poster idea is cool, but if you're going to do it, you're going to want to use a better camera than your phone. Just something to think about.
Kieran Gibson I wasn't trying to insult him, and I have no doubt he does, but thanks for setting me straight. 🙄
AV8R Tom i agree because that camera is ok but the pics need to be more bright and clear to see them
Trap pokemon plus they are optimized for the phones native pixel resolution. I've taken photos of things that were relatively close up, and when viewed on a 23 inch monitor, even at 4K the pictures don't stretch well without noticeable pixelation.
And will probably need some post and corrections too because once they're blown up to size the aberrations etc will be really visible.
