Thank you for sharing! Your model is more advanced than others. I had a couple of questions, but found you on Printables and you’ve explained very clear what’s needed. 😍
Congrats on being highlighted on the Bambu site!
I am about 75% of the print. I wanted to do this print for a while and now have enough rolls to now need it. Thanks for sharing.
I always seem to have an issue with threads not working. But im not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or the files.
Just in the process of printing this now, cant wait for it to be finished!
I have an issue with the empty spool not gaining traction and spinning on its axes..... help......
I’m thinking it would be nice if you showed us how it worked in reality. It’s a great video, but it would be nice if you gave us a demo is that possible?
I'm printing this in PLA now. I absolutely hate supports, so I've cut the middle section out of the rear and middle assembly (not using the front for now) so I can print them flat rather than upright with support. Should print faster and rather than using support, I am using 4 walls, 4 top and bottom layers and increased the infill to 20%. I might get a little sag on the now vertical screw holes, but a drill bit will take care of that if needed. I realize I will need to get the spacing correct before screwing down to a small piece of plywood, but that shouldn't be too hard.
I'm printing the worm gear right now
Could you please show out the size (long, wideth and height ) of the base wood ?
This was my first spooler. It worked fine at first, but it eventually locked up on me so I’m printing a different model.
Did the new one work better? If so please link me to it
anyone else have problems with the thread
Lots of issues yes
my files look so different
Which thread? The central reciprocating thread, or the end nut threads?
Complex and cumbersome, many parts are unnecessary
This is... a complicated print.
