My opinion is as follows: Green bag: Ledin He’ll give Grenier the skill to make his preemptive attack better, and of course Narm, who can be pretty damn good with the extra attack. Also, he can make also great secondary tank if the map needs it. Blue bag: Tiaris This speaks for itself, and can make SP Dieharte a monster for Freekong’s PvP, and general PVE. G&L are better with that extra bulk. You never know. CN Bag: Luna. I think this is a good choice for Lewin, who was always discount Elwin, but in his SP form, can still keep up with Vanilla Elwin in general PVE content. Also Luna has the faction buff, and can be a pretty solid bruiser, and support for general PVE. I think with the omega F2P style that you created is always gonna cater to Origins teams with all the access you get to those units. If you want to spice it up, then I think the Elwin/Liana combo can open up some more options, and Sigma can definitely make for some very different teams.

I think the only realistic option for green bag is bern and then you flip a coin for elwin/liana vs tiara/jugler. Idk enough about the status of freekong to know if the unique mechanics of jug/tiaris outwieghs the massive damage that sp elwin and hein would add
I agree, I think Bernhardt is a no-brainer for the green bag. Literally the only reason to take Ledin is so Narm does more damage to Hugin & Munin lol. The question then becomes Tiaris, Dieharte, Luna, Lewin (good all-round) vs. Tiaris, Dieharte, Sigma (Sigma can solo one of the Ragnarok of the Realms stages...) vs. Elwin, Liana, Hein, Scott, Mack (solid core plus meme value). I personally put relatively less value on Jug.
1st: No reason to pick Omega, that is a fact. Ok serious now, I would also say Elwin + Liana. You unlock a potent SSR healer with acess to ActAgain (which freekong lacks), gospel and even summon for some shenanigans. Liana is pretty powerfull as a healer even today. Elwin can still be a center point of any glory stuff you wanna do and you also bring Hein with him making it a 3 for 2 deal. For the extra... if you already got S on H&M I see 0 reason to pick Ledin. Narm will just shoot down fliers hardere, but I bet even iwthout atk bond she can still bring them down just fine right? Bern is probably the best option, but I would personally pick Shelf. She would be mostly a FB and demolish bot since no int bond like this... I think neither will see much use to be honest, I just like Shelf more :D
You're the first person to mention Gospel, and it's actually a good point. With no Rozenciel debuff immunity stacks, unbonded Melania is my only access to Gospel (plus SP Almeda's new reflective stacks).
I've thought about it, purely for PvP purposes, although Leon would have no ATK bond in that case. Unless I took Elwin from the red bag in 5 months... but then Elwin would have no ATK bond, so he would just a benched bond unlocker. :D
I vote for the Elwin, ledin, Liana trio. They carried me so hard in the early days and are still staples. With this you get 3 SPs as well and free up some skills on other characters Also are you missing any more free characters? I’ll donate a bag
I appreciate your generosity, but unfortunately I've got all the characters that can ethically be called freebies now. The only reason I'm not super keen on the Ledin option is that Freekong is not in the early days. I struggle to think of a situation where I would ever field him over Gren, so his main impact would be making Chris viable and already-decently-viable Narm more viable. That's not bad tbh, but it's not earth-shattering.
I personally would pick Bern from the green bag. Bern unlocking Imelda and Vargas is a plus and he is pretty tanky, especially after SP, so I don’t think Leon is required. For the other bags, I think the Elwin/Liana combo has more value than the other choices. You get more use out of Hein, another faction buffer, and act again. I do prefer to use Tiaris over Liana for healing, or Flo over Liana for act again, but I think unlocking Elwin is more important and she’s still a great option if you don’t have the other two. I think Tiaris would be best pick if you were only picking one, but I don’t use Jugler much anymore, maybe it’s the way I play, but I haven’t found much use for him in new content. I think overall you would get more from picking Bern and Elwin/Liana
Thanks for your detailed thoughts! My Bern wouldn't have his defensive bond, so he wouldn't be as tanky as we're all used to, but he would still be able to do Bern stuff. His aura is very nice for PvE in general. And you're right, just having access to any kind of Act Again is a total game-changer. If going the Tiaris route, the more I think about it, Jugler would be in third behind Luna and Sigma. I just don't think I need his healing anymore, and I certainly don't need him to tank. Luna's very well-rounded, and Sigma could be a long-range DPS, especially since I lack any long-range mages.
I dont have any valuable input to give in making this choice. I just wanted to say that you put an impressive amount of thought into this. My decisions are about as complex as, is this character cute or cool. lol

One nice thing about Langrisser is it's pretty easy to come back to, at least as far as gachas are concerned.

Honestly, another viable option would be to get benhart and leon, then you get two sp characters can, and then you can get elwin and Luna later

I would say Elwin and Liana. Both are great for PVP and also some PVE content.
There is a unit with 0drawbacks and is perfect in every way that you didn’t consider, the SSSS+ tier waifu BETTY!!!
I'm partial to elwin/liana. Elwin is a big dps gain and act again is huge. Plus you get another sp for free.
