i really like this voice and the mario kart 64 voice. its cute and spritely. his raspy voice, while it's intended to be iconic, is just really... bad. I much prefer his older voices.
I love Sam Kelly (Toad's current voice actress), but I prefer the voice actress and his voice actor for the non japanese version of Mario Kart 64. (Though I guess Sam's version if the one that fits his current design the most, so I can accept her as their replacement)
