In this video tutorial, I demonstrate how to use Grayscale Seps Actions in Photoshop to perform grayscale color separations for screen printing. This is a continuation of Part 1, where I showed how to set up actions on PC and Mac for grayscale color separation. In Part 2, I show how to color separate grayscale images using the grayscale seps actions, using specific artwork as an example. I explain how to do grayscale separations and halftone conversions quickly and easily using the actions. Additionally, I explain how to contract white underbase, set the halftone resolution, and prepare colors for film printouts. I provide tips on using different types of white underbase and highlight white for brighter prints. Finally, I show how to adjust colors for different t-shirt colors, such as using t-shirt black instead of black ink. Overall, my tutorial aims to help viewers achieve accurate and efficient grayscale color separations for screen printing using Photoshop.
The action set includes actions that automatically convert color-separated layers into halftones. You can also perform halftone conversions manually by using the halftone actions in this action set.
These grayscale color separation actions work similarly on all grayscale images. You only need to decide how many colors you want to print an image with. With this action set, performing grayscale color separations and halftone conversions becomes very easy.

Hello. The grayscale seps actions run only on layers as the grayscale spot channel preview is not accurate. Alternatively, what you can do is run the action on layers, make adjustments, convert to halftones, and finally move the layers to channels for film printouts.
