- i believe all vintage race cars need to hand painted! So happy to be able to answer the call for this one tt's the most unique race car i've gotten the opportunity to paint. So here's the skinny on it, Holman Moody was commissioned by ford to build this one and 2 others based off the Ford Falcon, they were called the Challenger I, II, & III. which of all 3 only this one ( III) featured the fastback which was years before the Mustang and Mopars started featuring them. So this is 1 of 1! Rob Ida asked if i could paint the race numbers back on it, there was no race cars sporting vinyl in '62.
