- In this video, we're going to cover one of the most underestimated settings in Diablo IV that can massively increase your enjoyment of the game. People overlook this all the time. They just accept what the defaults are, but it is time to set up your movement & combat in a way that works for you.
👍We love it when you share your own tips in the comments! It’s really awesome that they get out to so many people, thank you!!!👍

These "not everyone plays on PC" comments are super confusing because why did they click on a "keyboard and mouse settings" video if they play on console and don't use a keyboard and mouse? Or did they just come to this video only levae their comments?
Right! The original title was vague, so I changed it. What’s weird is after I changed it I still got those comments. So, ultimately I have no idea.
@@OwnModeGaming ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ people are strange I guess lol
Cursor scale, contrast and color options in Graphics helps me a lot. Bigger, brighter and yellow!
Awesome! I switch the color options in Destiny 2, i like them more than the default, but I haven't messed with them in Diablo.
The very first tip that helped with moving instead of attacking and vice versa is my number one problem while playing. I am for sure trying it out when I jumping on thanks for the great video
I'm so glad. Let me know how it goes.
Absolutely brilliant video, especially for someone who just swapped to PC master race for VOH! Thank you
Lol, that's awesome! You are so welcome.
excellent video, I'm going to try some of this settings 👌🏾
That's awesome!
Ty for posting sharing this.
My pleasure
Love it! Thank you!
Awesome!!!
Thank you! That was a really good video. I always try to remove as many clickings from the mouse as possible. I am old, and too much clicking strains my wrist. I use forced movement on the spacebar and seldom use skills on mouse buttons now. But I need to try the mouse wheel trick next.
Thank you, I’m glad you liked it. The clicking can be a lot on anybody.
I'll try WASD movement this season.
Awesome! Let me know how it goes.
I like a tip I saw in comments on someone elses video, if you have a mouse with an unlockable scroll, to bind force move to scroll then you spin the wheel really hard and it has a good 10 sec of input so it'll move you without having to constantly click.
Not great for in combat but general movement/mounted it's great.
I commented this about half way through the video, clicked play to continue and then you literally said this 😂 note to self, finish video before commenting.
@@Junkfist Solid tip! That's what I did when I was running the wheel setup.
@@Junkfist I really appreciate it, the completion, the tip, and the comment. 👍
I find binding move to space bar really easy and dodge to middle mouse button. Its easier for me to just hold down the space bar since it is used more than dodge.
I've done the hold on the space bar and liked it a lot.
This is the way.
the optimal setup is using WASD for movement and mouse bindings for spells along with 1,2,3,4
I'm glad you like that.
DEADLY
Side note: I used to use a small Wacom tablet instead of a mouse and it was awesome, I recommend trying it out 👍🏻
I used to have one of those but i never tried gaming with it.
@@OwnModeGamingLet me know if you try it!
Need more info on how you had this configured! Sounds interesting, and might overcome some of the disadvantages of controller on some classes.
@@daagar1310I used it on PC and it was like 10 years ago but from what I remember I had the move button as the pen touching the pad, primary as one of the click buttons on the pen and another attack on the other button. I remember it being very forgiving on my hand because of the more natural hand position with the pen and super fast movement decisions because you can just put the pen down and either hold it to move or clicking (tapping the pen on the tablet) to move automatically. I have no idea how it performs on D4 but with D3 it was fun.
One thing that bothers me the most is for some reason when you move your character, the graphics becomes blurred. I have asked on reddit and tried to search on google to find a solution, but there is none yet. And its not an issue with my PC as it sometimes randomly fixes itself when I launch the game. All I found out about this issue is that it may be caused by DLSS? Basically it looks like I have motion blur turned on.
@@athena4175 that is weird. I don't know how to fix it. Did it help when you switched off DLSS?
@@OwnModeGaming So I have a Nvidia Graphics Card, though I don't think it's a graphics card issue. Here are the things I tried:
Under Graphics:
HDR - Toggling on / off
Vertical Sync - Toggling on / off
Resolution Scaling - None
Resolution Percentage - 100%
Ambient Occlusion - Off
Distortion - Off
Ray Tracing - Off completely
Anti-Aliasing Quality - High [ can be put to low but can't be turned off]
Nvidia Reflex Low Latency - Toggling on/off
None of this has worked for me. In the game there is also no option to turn off DLSS and I don't think there is a way to do so on windows either. Unless it's just motion blur that's integrated into the game, in which case there is also not an option in game to turn it off. Let me know if anyone knows anything about this issue and if it is fixable. TyTy!
@@athena4175 So where the settings are that affect DLSS is in graphics under performance. The setting that allows you to select DLSS is resolution scaling and DLSS is one a handful of options. It looks like you have it set to none, I would see what options you have and test them all. If you have already done this, I'm sorry, I don't have any other ideas. Everything else you have listed would have been the additional things I would have checked.
@@OwnModeGaming No worries, thanks for checking!
turn down your graphics, Diablo IV it's a very demanding game
The setting to separate move and attack do not work with Barb and Druid for me. They´re still moving when i push the dedicated button for basic Skills. It works as intended wit my Rogue and Necromancer.
I'm really not sure what is causing that. It is working on my Druid. I'll test a bard to see if i can recreate it. Maybe try resetting and setting them up again. Or if you have keybinding setup 2 available at the top, just switch to that and reapply settings.
@@OwnModeGaming Thanks for the Tip, but that is not the problem. I started 2 New Chars only to test it with the same result .I bind Move and interact to space key, and Basic skill to left Mouse Button with combine interact/ Move and Basic Skill unchecked. Then i tested it with Rogue with the Basic skills " Blade shift" and " forcefull Arrow". I came to the knowlege that it only works with Ranged Combat Skills and not with Meele skills. Sorry if my english is not perfect.
@@heikoheinlein9318 I think your English is excellent. It's a hard thing to transfer clearly in writing.
Any tips for controller? I used to play on PC but only have a ps4 to play on and controller sucks so anything would be helpful. Gracias.
I don't play with controller very often, so i haven't made a video on it. I do plan on testing it more so that I can see what a lot of players go through and then, if I can do it justice, I will for sure.
Why not just buy an Xbox controller for your PC and use a controller? Way better gaming experience and mouse and the keyboard for ARPG.
I have played both and if you require any direct targeting the mouse and keyboard is far better. If you don't, they are both great 😀
hi OwnMode do u know how rob rapidly drops loot
Not sure! He plays a lot. I don’t know of any special trick other than playing the game at a high level.
Has to do with the free wheel mouse scroll. He holds cntl and spins the wheel.
Oh man, same here. It's why I clicked on this video. I've tried the CTRL + LMB/RMB. Neither works. Don't know how to fix it. :( Can't find a guide.
Not everyone plays on pc…
yep
Agreed. Seems all of these vids assume we play on a PC
Should probably find a video geared towards that playstyle, then, because this one is for PC 🙄
