This video was amazing went to Walmart bought everything explained and caught fish immediately on the down rig!!! Amazing video spot on just left Virginia Beach last week and crushed it on the pier thanks to this video!
Ty for this video! I live in VB and trying to learn to fish out here (newbie). I will set up that same rig! how big is too small/too large of a sink with the bottom setup for pier fishing there?
I watched this video and went on the Va Beach Pier with my daughter, niece, and nephew. I rigged up one line and WHOOSH! My package of Fishbites went into the water.....(dummy)......we still caught a couple off the bag of frozen raw shrimp.
Hey man, would you ever be willing to go out fishing sometime? I recently got out of the navy, not from the area and would like a fishing friend to go to the piers with.
At 56 seconds there is a huge fish that can be seen on the surface of the water. Bottom right of the screen under your right arm. What is that? Maybe a dolphin or shark going after the fish you missed??
@@NRVOutdoors thanks.. hit me up when it gets better maybe i can meet you out there..va beach fishing pier is my next stop, thanks again for the reply👊

Awesome!!!
I have many memories of the pier I grow up living at 16th st an Baltic ave and walked to the pier and stay all night fishing. Great times
I love that you share your catch! My dad always taught me to share fish. Not many people do that anymore.
Definitely! Thanks for watching
I live in Virginia Beach and you really did give some helpful tips
That was awesome
Great video, very helpful!
Nice rig setup & great catches! =)
Nice informative video. I am going to Virginia Beach in a week and wanted to know how fishing off the pier is in February? Is it worth it or nah!!
Never know. I'm not sure the hours of operation this time of year. Hopefully they will be open

They have a good selection in the bait shop. I usually use 2-3oz

What brand of rod and reel are you using? And sizes of them? I would also like to know the type of line and test of it? Please
Cheap Walmart 7' rod & bass reel with some 15lb Berkley big game monofilament line
What test lb line were you using?

NEW SUB... looking to catch fish... went to Sandbridge pier on SAT not even a bite... any tips? Thanks...
Fishing is still rather slow due to the unseasonably cold temps. Try some cut squid and cast it out as far as possible.

May I ask what size weight you use with the GOT-CHA lure?
Or do you have to use any weights? And also what size line should I use? I plan on going everyday this summer
No weights needed. The gotcha is actually a lead weight itself
Only thing I can catch at va beach is croaker pompanos and yellow tail
My dad's from heee
You'd catch a LOT more fish if you learned to make your own leader rigs. And it's cheaper.
