I have a binder came with a leatherett cover ( fake leather) got it of eBay I enjoy working in it adding art and headings ect I like yours you are so artistic I can't can't draw pentacles correct way up so I usually trace or draw it first and turn paper round after

I find binders work well for me i always completely destroy a journal everytime I get one cause im pretty sure i have Adhd im very perfectionist. So i end up.tareing practically all the pages out on my journals cause i mess up so much! So yeah no more journals plus i find its more creative cause i can choose what kind of paper how much paper ect and design a cover myself. Plus if i mess up.it is so eazy to take out a page and replace it with a new page
Nyaleab Gach A lot of people recommend journaling to keep records as you go on your journey. I started an online journal just writing down all my thoughts and feelings and I think it's been helpful. A lot of people put those in their BOS but I decided to keep my journaling separate from my research, spellwork, etc. It's really up to you!
hi im a new wicca or witch i guess i like to say wicca better im 20 and found out recently i have letters ontop of one hand and fingers i was hoping someone could help me out DK underneath VL then i noticed they come up at night so now kinda faded but pinky has N then HB VA after HN AY M and maybe a B from what i remember what is the book of shadows and any tip on improving cursive not only am i a witch but i can sense spirits and feel them when they touch me normally while im sleeping im also intuned to peoples feelings as well i have no clue how powerful i am as a new wicca i live with my parents so i cant practice magic sadly any tips on controlling new magic as well
I actually ordered sheet protectors in bulk from cranebinders.com and they are super cheap and very thin. So i have about 400 sheets in a 2 inch swing hinge binder
300 ppi is best for higher quality printing! 72 is really nice for screen viewing but like you said, prints a little pixelated. But I Loved the style of your book! Definitely some cool inspiration

I’ve struggled with the desire for aesthetic, but also desired something practical that could accommodate categories...personal reflection, herbs, astrology, tarot readings, etc. I love how beautiful blank journals are in the stores but you’re forced to document things chronologically, I’d hate to be frantically flipping through pages trying to find what I want. Awesome idea about drilling holes to stitch the fabric btw!
Nisimarie Thank you! My book of shadows has actually changed quite a bit. I will say a lot of witches use their book of shadows as a means of journaling so the chronology doesn’t matter, but I wanted to use mine as a reference book which is why I chose this method. I recommend it! Recently in my book, I’ve taken to typing script out in a legible format then burning the edges and pasting it in like a scrapbook so it can have a nice whimsical aesthetic while still being legible, particularly when it’s dark.
+Gio Intia I did it myself. I bought computer paper and put hot tea in a casserole dish and let one sheet sit in it submerged for about 2 minutes...longer for each sheet as the tea cools. I gently crinkle the paper then unfold it and let it dry, all individually. Be sure to get more higher quality computer paper. Also if you print on the paper like I did, the paper sometimes gets caught in the printer and is destroyed. Frustrating, but I like the outcome when it works.

If it's for reference while in circle (which I do frequently) a book might be better but if you prefer to have it digital, a tablet might be less cumbersome than a laptop. It's also important to have back up copies. I have my content written in Google docs that way I don't lose it if something happens to my hardrive.
ben ammar insaf You don't have to have a teacher. Most people start off by picking up books. I've read a lot of different books and I think a good place to start is Scott Cunningham's Wicca: Guide for the Solitary Practitioner. It comes highly recommended from a lot of Non-Traditional Wiccans. If you are interested in becoming a Traditionalist, then my suggestion would be to go to Witchvox.com and find a British Traditional Wiccan coven and apply to join. If they are interested in you joining their group, then they will train you for some time before you join. However, before reading books or searching for covens, it really wouldn't hurt to just look up Wicca on Wikipedia. Click all the links, look into all the connecting concepts and look through the history. It'll give you a general idea of what it's all about and lead to good decisions for yourself. Good luck!
ben ammar insaf I think it is awesome being a Solitary. It is a lot more work for sure but it is totally worth it in my opinion. You can still study for the classic year and a day. I have not yet read Scott Cunningham's Wicca: Guide for the Solitary Practitioner quite yet, unfortunately . I would say defiantly give that a try because EVERYONE recommends it (: My favorite to recommend for just starting out right now is The Complete Idiot's Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft by Denise Zimmermann and Katherine A. Gleason. Do not judge a book by its cover, it is full of knowledge and my ultimate favorite...(so far) LOL Blessed Be.

Yes it is. I have a longer video talking about that but I will be uploading a video in the future talking about how I'm separating my involvement with that figure into a separate practice since Satanist philosophy and practice is different from Wicca and doesn't have a place in it. I've also taken that drawing out of my BOS.

Wendigo of the North Woods The figure in the drawing is actually my depiction of Azazel and I gave him the head of Baphomet. I don't view Satanic figures as something negative but rather humanistic Promethean heroes who have the best interest of human being's feelings and thoughts in mind. As I progress, I have separated Azazel from my Wiccan practice and he is a figure that I am exploring individually. Thank you for your comment!
Baphomet or the sabbatic goat of Eliphas Levi just recently got his bad rap, before used to symbolize the great work, the Union of opposites. Quite an apt symbol for magic.

Very nice. I have a three ringed binder as well. Book of Shadows, to me, are never completed that is why the 3-ring works so well.
