Great work. In uk have done the conversion myself on my 350GT complete. I have it all in and running but dont have the handbrake working as i dont have the correct cable. Tried 350z but too short. Any ideas how to overcome this??
You need the v35 cable its the only one that's the correct length.
Would you have any suggestion how i can come to obtain one. Virtually impossible here in UK and enquiring from Nissam?
@@originalsid4u try jpcarparts in Japan they can get them direct from nissan but when I inquired that cable was on backorder with 1 month wait.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my gf lately xD
@Jeremias Devin Yea, been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself :D
Hey I just came across your video from searching around to find information on my manual transmission...I have a 2004 nissan skyline 350gt 6 speed.. are they reliable or anywhere close to comparing it to a cd009 trans
It should have the same gearbox
After the manual swap did you ever came across any check engine light? Trying to the swap on a 2004 CPV35 skyline.
No check engine light . But I did have an issue when starting the car from cold after about 2 mins I needed to turn the off and re start as it would go into limp mode .
Thank you, I appreciated it a lot🙏🙏
Hello mate I was wondering if you would be able to help me with a few questions about the swap. I'm doing a 2002/3 skyline v35 vq35de coupe 5at to 2004 350z 6mt i have a haltech elite 2500 with a boomslang adapter to make it pnp. It is just a few things like the hand brake reservoir and the specific hose that connects it. Also what about the handbrake lines? I. Nice one on the video
Do you mean the clutch lines or the handbrake cable?
Do u have to be a sparky to know about the electrical connections?
No they are easy to work out. Just copy what I have done.. if you need any more info let me know...
Thank you
Hey did you reprogram the ecm and what was the proceedure
No it was ok
Currently I am doing a swap just like this but the vehicle is going to limp mode
Wont rev pass 3000rpm same auto ecu, car was cvt
@user-bw8pb6ot5y have you modified the wiring where the harness used to plug into the auto? You need to have the D for Drive showing on the dash, as to trick the ecu into thinking it's in gear. Otherwise it will rev cut at 3000rpm.
What did you wire from auto transmission plug to make it not show the codes?
I have a look I have it saved somewhere
@@driftcarsjpok thanks will be helpful, will this apply to 03 g35 sedan rwd?
Hello, I'm going to swap CVT to 5speed AT. Do I need to change ECU? and are the transmission connectors same?
If you swap the ecu you'll need to replace the bcm and keys etc.. none of the plugs are the same so you'll need the 5at gearbox harness
@driftcarsjp Thanks for answer! Is it possible to change harness without taking out engine?
@@krukka1993 yep with the gearbox out there is plenty of room
@@driftcarsjp Thank you!
Do you have the Oem paddle shifters? I'll buy them asap
Sorry already sold them
@@driftcarsjp Do you know where I can get them from? I'm from the USA and would really like these on my G35 coupe
@@FrankieJ1981 try jp-carparts.com
Hello do you have the paddle shifter assembly for sale ? I’ll be more than happy to take it if you do if not, if you can help me source it as I’m in the states
No sorry I sold the paddle shifter. Try jpcarparts.com
@@driftcarsjp thank you so much for the reply 🙏🏻💪🏽
@@driftcarsjp what’s the part number
Would a CVT to 350z auto conversion be easier with less wiring? I'm getting an elgrand imported and just wondering about future conversions.
It would be alot harder as the ecu in the car won't run the 350z auto so you would have to do a full ecu bcm swap. Prob wouldn't be worth the money.
@@driftcarsjp could I just run a haltech ecu and control both that way?
Yeah all depends on your budget..😁
dis you bend the clutch pedal ?
No
