It's not good satire though is it? The first film turned a black man white for no reason other than to make tired stereotypical jokes. This sequel uses Hitler as a marketing device placing him on the king of dinosaurs. Where is the satire there? Is it edgy? Or just dumb? The reference to shape shifting lizard people is David Ike's code for Jews...and Hitler is somehow their leader?! The Vril seem to be lizard men with hooked noses. Is that another metaphor for Jews? Where else are Jews mentioned in Vuorensola's Universe? Where is the mention of Nazi ideologies most notorious evil? This doesn't look like satire to me. This is misguided nonsense with anti-semitic overtones. But hey it's just a joke! Just like when people tell racist jokes and then mention they actually have minority friends so as not to appear racist... to themselves at least. (Disclaimer - I was lead VFX artist for the first film and am openly critical of ISU)

If you'd like to talk specifically about hacking the election, there's quite a bit of evidence that Russia either successfully, or attempted to, hack the voter rolls and the actual voting infrastructure in nearly every state. But that's not really what the investigations are about.

Priceless on an epic scale of pricelessness. Also, Iron Sky's Melania's middlefinger trumps that tone-deaf inconsiderate coat-rack any day. The universe needs this Melania and her middlefinger. Her flipping her finger for at least two hours straight would make for a classic movie that fits any genre. Comedy, rom-com, slapstic, action, sci-fi.... it fits!

Iron Sky is available on UA-cam TV as a rental. Or if you prefer, you can buy the video from Amazon, as I did. Supposedly there is a sequel coming too sometime in 2019.

Even if all of this has been done to death already, I mean, just pick any SNL skit with Alec Baldwin over the last 3 years. The dubbing is obvious but it still works for the most part.
