The best part of this video for me, was that you didn't hide you blank sessions. Brutally honest person you are!
Well done Simon ! Nice fish and very positive video! Top angling as always!
Wish you had warned us about that carp… I am now wearing my coffee! 😀😀 The front half was lovely though… 👍👍well done!
Sorry 🤣
That little dude is an absolute belter! Size really doesn’t matter when they look like that, it’s a good job because I’m now a Scotland carper and they don’t get all that big up here. That vid s the juices flowing so to speak. Just lovely.
Loveď that one Norm, I bet you'll be back there again. 😁👍
Wow.... If there ever was a carp to be called moonscape... That's it...
Well done mate 👍
haha moon phase what a load of baloney im with you all the way caught all times day and night lovely bit of film cheers jase powers
Proper angler, great vid as always,a carper that actually talks sense 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Love the excitement even after all them years fishing ❤
All that talk of blanking? I didn't believe it for a minute 😄 bruv haha spending too much time with Mr Ellis I think 😂😂😂 nicely done!
Better to under promise and over achieve than over promise and under achieve 😉
@@AvidCarpFishingTV try and say that after a few bevvies 😄
Thanks for this informational video. I must spend to much time on air pressure compared to water temp. I can't believe I've not considered that as often as I should. I've started to understand the carp clean spots for naturals then can leave that spot for weeks so they can re-harvest it, moving around the lake like this constantly. Finding these spots is real watercraft knowing when you can effectively bait an area where the fish are coming to that's either regrown or is harvested from naturals. What rods were they? And thanks great video...
Great video mate, I film all my sessions and put them on UA-cam weather I catch or not. It’s about the journey of the session for me everyone is different. Just put my new vid up and luckily I had 3 fish this weekend, the last 2 weekends Ive blanked but I still put the videos up
What an awesome fish! Tight lines
Awesome as always, I'm glad you said about blanking Si. I've chosen a notoriously hard water with a low stock for a 6 month campaign, I've scored on my fourth session.
I posted the blanking vids regardless. It's real carping...nice one Si, always my fav..👊
Well done Simon
Hope you enjoyed it

Really enjoyable. What a cracking venue!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video simon is it a day ticket lake
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ecton lakes is a series of syndicate venues, you can find out more here www.ectonlakes.co.uk
@AvidCarpFishingTV thank you will take a look cheers
Ha no way I fish those lakes, clover mainly but I'm getting Jigsaw added to my ticket soon. All the lakes are tricky and the fish are ancient. Really is a hard work venue the pond weed in the summer is left untreated and it does fill the lakes up.
Did you name that one football ⚽️
He should have 🤣
Moving from lake to lakes, what do you do Regards to bio security, you fish some cracking lakes, so interested to know how you go about it.
Many venues require you to use their fishcare equipment however, if this is not the case, in lieu of being able to completely dry fish care equipment and expose it to UV light, Simon will cary an extra set of fishcare equipment when visiting multiple venues with out heading home, so he can always use sterilised equipment. Many venues also have dipping stations, in this situation equipment is dipped prior to and post fishing. Hope this helps 👍🏼
