Carlos Surinach Concertino Movt 2 Mac McClure

This is the second movement of the Concertino by Carlos Surinach for piano percussion and string. Alicia de Larrocha gave me the score and arranged for me to play the piece for the composer in New York in the mid 90's.. This is one of the three concertos by Surinach for piano and orchestra. Born in Barcelona in 1913, Carlos Surianch moved to the United States in 1953, where he became quite well known as a Ballet composer writing several forks for Martha Graham as well as Mikhail Baryshnikov.
