We found putting a tarp on the ground then setting up the tent helps keep you dry and saves the floor of your tent. Our tent is 30 years old and has no holes in the floor.
I'm buying this tent except it will be a 6 person capacity.....I will also be spraying a sealer on the tent to reinforce waterproofing. . Thanks for the tutorial...
Nice review! I bought this tentlast summer on clearance at Bass Pro on a whim, afterwards I kind of regretted it because it looked like a PITA to set up. Still haven't actually used it yet, but watching your review makes me feel a little bit better about it. I still wish I had ponied up the extra money and had gotten a Gazelle, LOL. Personally I like a smaller tent for myself, but I bought the Bayside because my girlfriend wanted to accompany me camping, so that meant a full size queen air mattress and room for two Labs as well.
thanks Michael, it was difficult for me to figure out when I first opened up the tent. So I'm glad you found it helpful. my favorite tent is a much smaller one, but my GF wanted to go camping as well lol

Nice video, when I was young my parents got a BIG tent, there were 10 of us 😀
I'm also looking to get a replacement rainfly for this tent, and it's almost like this model never existed!
Would appreciate any leads

Omg I’m looking for directions to that tent
This is the best Tent Video I have ever seen, I've only seen 1 but eh.
That was the sexiest kraken shirt I’ve ever seen. I watched the intro about 15 times now.

thanks for posting this :)
Welcome! Hope it was helpful
I decided to buy this one used and am excited to get it. How has it held up in the rain? Any modifications you have made or other tips?
Is that tent flood proof?
Haha unfortunately not
@@100AcreWoodHighlands What if you put a footprint will it help?
@@bambam900 I think a footprint would definitely help, I just don't have one
One year in - are you still using this tent and, if so, how is it holding up?
The first comment guy smells like elder berries.
No reason to sleep in a tent if you have a perfectly good bed!
1st and 2nd!
