Couple of pointers... For onene, feed both of the main poles before starting to stand the tent up. Feeding the 2nd pole with the first pole tensioned and standing is much more difficult. Secondly, it helps to secure one of the rain fly's clips when getting it pulled over the top. These modified tents are always a tad bit more difficult to erect than standard 2-pole dome tents but well worth the extra effort. The tent becomes easier to set up each time you use it not only due to experience but also the material stretches to a slight degree.
Lived in one of these with my family of five, + five cats and a dog, for 6 months after the housing crash years ago. We had to get a big tarp to keep the rain off us, but otherwise it's not a bad tent for warm weather.
@ElthrosXL I lovr to help people out. You gotta live below your means to get ahead. Pets are expensive and typically not allowed on rentals unless you pay more, definitely not allowed in homeless shelters. Give up the pets, get back on your feet, then maybe get pets. Those kids are a priority. So yeah, my kids love living with me in our house I worked hard for.
i subscribed to ur channel cuz i love the NO TALK JUST DO set up.... love the music to... in other channel they talk to much. but thank you on ur videos
Used mine for the first time last night. Instructions were not clear and it doesn’t assemble as easily as they would have you believe. Tent is great once you get it up
Thanks for your video. I used mine last night, and thanks to your video, we were able to assemble. Quick question, where does the two extra rainflies are supposed to be mounted? Thanks for the help!
@wilderness.varieties4746 My husband managed to get it finally. Thank you for the reply. Phew that one throws u a learning curve. Hopefully next time we put it up will be easier.
You’re welcome! Hope you enjoy, it does get easier the more you do it, also the material will start to stretch making it easier for the pole installation.
The ones that come with the tent are metal, the yellow ones I use in this video and others are plastic yellow, they are my favorite one that’s seem to hold the best in my opinion.
That's what she sai...... Lol. But seriously, thanks for the video. Those drone shots and bs from the manufacturer never give the real scale/perspective. Has it held up well for you?
Sorry, I don’t know how I missed your comment, but as of now, I’ve only had it out last year for probably a handful of times, I will be taking it out again this year, so by the end of this season I’ll have an updated video about the durability.
Can't believe you did this by yourself great job! It took four of us lol this weekend 😂
Thank you!! 😁

I bet you could have gotten an apartment if you didn't have all those cats. Nice priorities.
@@trkonkalim sure you're a swell person to be around with

Thanks for the help!
You're welcome, The two extras that you are talking about, are the room dividers for inside the tent, so you can have Three separate rooms.
@wilderness.varieties4746 Thank You!!!!!
You're welcome, enjoy!
I'm gonna use mine for the first time this weekend!
How did you like it
Thank you sooo much for this video. It was very helpful!!

Need to order replacement poles for this tent, anyone know the lengths I need??
This tent is a pain to get together. We now have it all the way up and cant get screen door zipped.
Search for my updated version of this tent from 1 month ago, it may help further with your situation.

Slumberjack Riverbend big at walmart 60. 17x10 it's just like this
Thank you 👍
You bet!
How long are the 5 poles. Got this tent on marketplace without them and I'm trying ti find some replacements.
The two main poles are pretty long, though I couldn't tell you exactly unless I measured them, but I can't do that today. I'm sorry.
Putting it up wasn’t a problem trying to figure how to put it away was the problem.
Figuring out how to fold it up and put in its bag is trial and error. Everyone has their own way of doing it.
Good vid ty!
You're welcome 😁
Are the stakes plastic or metal

Got this one and haven't set it up yet but going camping soon. Any pointers? Thoughts??
