You tuck your pants in one sock on a bike to keep your pants from getting caught in the chain.
This man stayed out past 9:30 pm, i garuntee you.
Or from getting oil from the chain on your pants
Hmm.. we never did this as kids, i guess because it was the mid 00s and we all wore skinny jeans 😅
Just came to post that. 😂 And to keep the grease off your pants.
Nailed it!
Holy shit… these guys only know Paul Rudd from Clueless. We need to pepper them with Anchorman, I Love You Man, and introduce him properly
Don't forget Role Models
Ant-man
I just realized THEY HAVEN'T SEEN ANCHORMAN holy hell!
Don't forget clueless and Halloween 6 😂
Knocked Up
This is 40
Ghostbusters: Afterlife
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Wanderlust
Our Idiot Brother
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Wet Hot American Summer
Catherine Keener is the mom on ‘Get Out’ she’s the one that hypnotizes the boyfriend Chris.
Shes also the mom who starts the outbreak again in 28 weeks later
And Seinfeld's artist girlfriend in the episode of the Kramer painting
She’s been in so many things for decades.
@@JS-wp4gs
No she isn't.
Keener is not in 28 Weeks Later.
I don't know if they've seen "Get Out" yet, so careful with the info.
"I'm a virgin. I always have been." People miss what a ridiculous line that is.
"Lets get some fukkin' french toast!"
Believe it or not, that was Steve Carell ACTUALLY getting his real chest hair waxed. And his reactions were 100% genuine, including when he screamed out, "Kelly Clarkson!" And at 20:04, Romany Malco ACTAULLY did get nauseous from the waxing that he had to walk off the set. Also, the lady who played the waxer actually WASN'T a waxer, but she lied to the casting department that she was a professional. And when she waxed Steve's nipple at 20:28, she actually ALMOST ripped his whole nipple off completely when she forgot to apply vaseline on the nipple.
True!!!
Did it grow back?
@@MountainMan. Steve shaved all his chest hair off three weeks after filming the scene.
If you're an actor, and you are set up with something you know is going to happen...
Your Reaction is not 100% genuine.
"Unscripted" is probably the word you were looking for.
That's how you get iconic moments on film. Do it for real.
Except for like a horror, or war, movie.
Low key, Asia was blushing in this.😅
Not only was the waxing scene REAL , but the cast watching the waxing was real. They really broke character 😂😂😂
First time I laughed and cringed at the same time - maybe cried a little too.
The fact he really did it made it so much funnier.
@shania991 not just that , if you notice paul rudd can't keep it in that he looks straight into the camera breaking character and laughing 😆 😄
And Steve Carell improvised that entire scene - true story.
"I hope u have a big trunk, cuz I'm gonna put my bike in it"
The essence of the movie is there is no timeline on doing things in your life. You don't have to be 16 and get a car. You don't have to be 40 and be married. You do what is right for you and not listen to your friends. I am 49 and not married. I was engaged twice. I had a house and lost it. I have never owned a car or had a regular drivers license. I have a motorcycle license instead. Not having a car but a motorcycle helped me both financially and maintenance costs. It took me over 20 years to get my undergraduate and graduate degrees. People laughed at all that. Now I am 49 and getting married to a 39 year old who is just like me. I am learning to drive a car now and saving up money for a house.
That's cool man... Congratulations
Good call BJ.
Fall Guy was played by Lee majors.
That doll was the 6 million dollar man, also played by Lee majors.
So in a way, yes that was Fall Guy
I had that as a kid. His arm and the eye. Even had the spaceship.
One of the best comedies of the past 20 years
Knocked Up is a funny one too.
I love that movie.
@@MermaidMusings7 Seth Rogan was my least fav on Freaks and Geeks, now I love him.
I use to be obsessed with that movie 😂 so many great actors and the comedy is great.
And Long Shot with Seth and Charlize Theron is pretty funny.
The good thing about this comedy is that, in the end, virtually ALL the people in it were good people who meant well.
So many comedies have assholes in them, that it's refreshing to see just good people.
Well, good people that were assholes at times, but we've all been there sometimes. At least I have.
💯.
"Thats Seth Rogan." "Oh." Her disappointed response had me in tears 😂❤
She was thinking “Joe Rogan” 😁
Fun fact Steve Carell actually got waxed to get the real scream of pain. It’s an iconic scene. The lady didnt have experience, she made mistakes, causing pain and irritation for Steve Carell.
It is a good improv scene
Also the woman teaching the Sex Class is Steve Carrel's actual wife in real life
"Awww, yer nailin' me......cool." 😆😆 Fav line in the whole movie
Asia said, “I feel like we reacted to this song already.” It’s “Heat of the Moment” by Asia. I mean c’mon. Love these two.
I wondered if someone pointed that out before I did... I should have scrolled down farther before I posted the same fun fact!😘
Made me think of Mystery Spot in Supernatural lol
I was just thinking ‘bruh, stop talking’ 😂
Then she gave you the look and the question😂.
Love y’all
This movie was the springboard that launched soo many comedy classics afterwards for all of them
I involuntarily said “Bless you” when Asia sneezed at 6:05 lol 🤣
Man I said that also. How funny! 😂😂😂
Fun fact, without this movie the Office would have only lasted 1 season ( first season wasn't well received) but Carrell became a star after this movie so the studio capitalized on that and pushed for more seasons of "The Office"
Mooj is my favorite character- “I can’t return the blade I keep in my boot until it has spilled bloooooooood.”
😭😭😭😭
Steve Carrell actually did have his chest waxed in that scene. He said he thought it wouldn't really hurt that bad. Paul Rudd & Seth Rogan were really laughing.
"I NEED YOU TO FOCUS AND BE QUIET"😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
My man was about to swing out the asphalt lane right there..
"Look at the tongue, look at the tongue. He tearing those thangs up" lololololol i'm over here dying laughing
Should definitely follow with Knocked Up, the director’s next film after. It’s gosh darn hysterical!
Asia has the most contagious laugh. 😂 Katherine Keener was the mom who hypnotized people with the tea cup in "Get Out".
Fun fact, the waxing scene was legitimately done. 100% real reactions
you tuck your pant leg into your sock on the sprocket (large gear cog thing) side so it doesn't get either greasy or straight up caught in the sprocket/chain..
Digging yourself a hole with that “temptations” bit at the beginning 😂
Fun fact: This was Jonah Hills first movie ever, even thou it's just a few minutes that he is in it. He went on to be casted as the main actor in Superbad (which is the creators of 40 year old virgin that made Superbad) So they mustve really liked him on set of 40 Year old Virgin, to give him this chance in a multi million project like Superbad.
Nice that Adia recognized Paul Rudd from Clueless! Since I don't see this in the comments, he was also Antman. Catherine Keener was great in "Being John Malcovich", a really bizarre movie.
Fun Fact: the show Steve Carell was in The Office was being considered for cancellation by the network but his comedy in this movie boosted the viewing of their show helping save it.
Asia, sweetie.
I do/did not know anyone over 40 & still a virgin (back when I was in my 40s).
But when you say you don't KNOW anyone over 40 -- you hurt my feelings a little bit.
I'm GASP 😮 71 😮!!!
And I really enjoy watching y'alls reactions, you young'ins! 😂
Me too, Judith. I proudly wear my " I Survived The 60's. TWICE! " t-shirt as often as I can. My new one is gonna read " Being Twenty in the 70's was more fun than being Seventy in the 20's. " I also like " I don't know how to act my age. I've never been this old before. "
@frankmahovlich5099
Thanks, Frank.
Loved your t-shirt ideas!
I need to get one of those myself.
It IS hard to believe I'm this old; but I really enjoy reactions of young people listening to the great music we grew up with. There are great musicians today -- but we had SO MANY -- rock; soul; folk; pop, etc.
We were blessed.
This is going to be good and I’m here for this here. BJ is soul brother number one.
Intro part.... Stop talking, gonna get in trouble 🤣😅. It took 37:50 for Asia to say "I'm gonna need you to focus"
A. C. Green, a very successful nba player mainly with the Lakers claimed he was a virgin until he married when he was 38. Allegedly he was a very devout Christian
That scene where he has all those plastic anatomy models reminds me of my old neighbor - used to be a biology professor and kept a bunch of things from when he retired from his university in a ratty old half falling down barn, so you'd walk in and there would be organs in jars , mummified body parts and animal parts all over the place and sitting on the rafters. If you were just some random guy who got lost in the woods and ended up wandering into the barn for shelter one night you'd have probably freaked out thinking he was some kind of psycho
Fun Fact: The Waxing scene was real 😅 🤣
Did his chest hair grow back to normal?
They actually do still sell VCRs, they sell a dvd/vhs combo still. Yes i have one and yes i still have all my VHS from over the years.
At the end is the song "Heat of the Moment" by........ASIA!
when she said "of course it'll be good, we love each other." n BJ went "MMM" the feels )': too cute
"Yeah, I - I've ne-never, ev-ever". Good answer my man. Very direct and to the point. Left nothing to chance, LOL!!
I laughed all over again with y’all! You MUST now watch the bloopers and outtakes from this movie. HILARIOUS!!!😂 😂
. . . Also, I would like to request True Romance as well.
True Romance is one of my favourite movies of all time. Great movie to react to.
Dinner for Schmucks is a good movie too, it has Paul Rudd and Michael what's his name in it.
He tucked his socks so it doesn’t get caught in the gears
And so it doesn’t get greasy. From the chain.
You might have seen her in Out Of Sight with George Clooney and Ving Rhames, and if you haven't then you really should because it is awesome. Just like you 2.
The waxing scene was actually real.
Clueless Guy is Paul Rudd. His is hysterical. Watch more of his stuff!! Wanderlust. I love you Man. This is 40. Our Idiot Brother. So goooood
Role Models. Love Paul Rudd. He’s a longtime Chiefs fan as well. I can dig that!
interesting to me that he did Clueless and Halloween 6 around the same time and in Clueless he was good and Halloween he was terrible
The waxing scene was real. He wanted to give a genuine reaction, so he actually had his chest waxed when they filmed it.
the scary movie they was watchin in the store was DAWN OF THE DEAD
The outakes/bloopers reel is hilarious, too.
ISTG if I had a dollar for every time my husband or I said to each other, "it's not about butthole pleasures", I would have a lot of dollars! SO MUCH fun to see you two enjoying this movie! I feel like part of it's charm is that underneath all the raunchiness is a very sweet story. Andy is like all those toys, his life didn't begin until he took himself out of the box. He made friends and found love (and finally had sex, although that in the end seems like the least interesting part!).
Moneyball is a must for you two! Such a great movie!
I think that this is the first time I've seen either of you laugh so much! This movie is hilarious, and highly rewatchable.😄
You can tell its a movie from the past, now if you got collectables in a room, its normal. Heck, both guys and girls collect stuff like action figures, bobbles heads, toys. How the time have changed now. The top of my desk is covered with stuff lol. Even got some in the bedroom, granted the bedroom is mainly my wifes area for decorating lol.
"This is good information that they are telling him!" as they give him the woooooorst info and the movie makes it clear 😂
I love watching y'all!
that wax scene has to be one of the naturally funniest things anyone has just let in their movie.
I LOVE that the other guys watching him get waxed could NOT keep straight faces. Everything in that scene was so real lmao.
I appreciate silly Office Steve Carrell and Ace Ventura Jim Carey. But when I see films like Dan in Real Life and Eternal sunshine. It makes me love them more endearingly.
Have you seen the way way back?
Dan in real life is fantastic
Ok I had to tell you that I had an aunt that passed away at 98 years who old and was a virgin. She was proud of it and didn't think she missed anything. She was like a Nun or something always taking care of people...
"If you have a room like that, you're definitely a virgin."
I'll have you know that Warhammer 40k is a super popular and in depth table top war game. Where as Dungeons and Dragons has you playing one character among some friends, Warhammer 40k sees you commanding an army! Many adults are fans and have hobby rooms dedicated to the game... but yeah, most of us are virgins.
Catherine Keener was in the movie, Survival Quest.
Zach Galifianakis is the actor in the Hangover movies.
There were two sides of that billboard, and they both hurt equally.
Fricken hilarious 😂 I work with someone who says he saved himself for marriage and he did but he was 35. Thats close enough😂
There is nothing wrong with that. The US focuses way too much on sex
I love this movie so much its so underrated!
Steve Carell is from 'The Office' tv series.
Waxing scene: If you look closely you'll see Steve starting to bleed. In the next scene you could see blood on the shirt.
The movie they were watching was Dawn Of The Dead (the one with Ving Rhimes).
The most relatable opening scene for men 🤣 BJ’s reaction to it was fantastic
Well endowed men, I guess.
This movie, Knocked up, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Anchorman were some of my favorite comedies in this time frame.
Many thanks to Asia and BJ! 😆 I'm so grateful I got to see this one on the big screen.
This movie came out during a very dark time in my life. I saw this when I was feeling low and will never forget how much it cheered me up for a few hours. Laughter truly is therapeutic.
Pat Morita was born in California, spoken English without an accent, he fought against the Japanese, and won the Medal of Honor. Yet when back in the states had to live in an interment camp to be with his wife and son.
After the war, he worked for Lockheed Martin mapping out the moon and started doing stand-up on weekends. He was in a few movies and TV shows, and he was known mostly for playing Arnold on Happy days. Then Karate kid changed all that.
This was one of the first comedies i ever watched, where it felt like i was working at one of my first sh*ty jobs!
The relationship/dialogue he had with his co-workers was so spot on. Great Movie and still holds up! lol
Definitely one of the most greatest comedy films ever made in the history of the world!!!!🌍👉👌😘🤩😍🥰❤😆😅🤣😂👏🙌🙏👍🎉
0:09 I already know we’re gonna hear Asia giggling SO much during this movie. It’s SO funny!!!!
I recite or at least mouth the opening greeting along with y'all every time. I, too enjoy the cadence.
I’m 33 years old man and still virgin. This is my future 😢
Don't get hung up on it dude. I say congratulations.
Take the black pill. There's always a job for you at the monastery. And on the bright side, no chance of HIV or who knows what disease will pop up next. I got a relatively minor STD from my hottest hookup and it was a horrible few months. I regretted having sex at all. I can't say they are great memories either, sex at my age isn't what it was, I'd probably imagine it was something I got screwed out of if I never had it and maybe hate the world who knows. I think for me now, I'd be fine without it if I had some nice cabin in the woods and not hotties around ever. Unfortunately I have to live in the city because I didn't save, so yeah, you older virgins if you take care of your money that's a good point in your favor. Women are like panning for gold with a bottomless pan. If you ever do find someone and you have money don't tell them about it, seriously at least not for a long time.
Hey 35 years old and still am as well, so don't feel any type of way
@@brittanybatiste7373I have a feeling this movie was way ahead of it’s time, because this is happening more nowadays.
This is one of those movies that I will ALWAYS watch if I see it pop up on TV. Hilarious! So fun watching you guys enjoy this!!
I seriously thought you reacted to this before.
It's an absolute comedy gem.
When BJ brought up "temptation," I thought .. oh shit here it comes, and I looked over quickly to Asia for her reaction and it was as expected, priceless. I laughed for 2 minutes
The wax scene wasn't rehearsed, he really got it done an his reactions were 100% genuine! So was the laughter from his mates, so was the nausea at the sight of it! Same as the waxer lady's! Also, the waxer lied as she hadn't done it in her life! Actual genuine moments an breaks in characters in films make me admire it more for some reason
Asia is so innocent. She didn't even know what mortal Kombat was lol
Watching you both laugh at this is just too much! 😂. Awesome reaction video. Much love to you!!
I forgot how much I loved Steve Carrell for doing that wax scene live and for real. So good! 😂
The bookstore girl is Elizabeth Banks. She’s in a lot of movies with this group of actors.
"Zach and Miri Make a Porno" is awesome! 😍
Elizabeth Banks had a much bigger role in Seabiscuit. She was excellent.
This is one of the great comedies, absolute classic.
This is on my Mount Rushmore of 2000s comedies, along with Superbad, Knocked Up, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. All must-watch movies!!!
The "Guatemalan love song" translates to
When I clean my room
I can't find anything
Where are you going in such a hurry
To the soccer game.
It's gibberish lol
Asia's face as BJ imagines what life would've been like as a 40 year old virgin 😆. This movie is what introduced me to Steve Carell, which led me to watching (and binging) The Office. Then I saw Dinner with Schmucks. I need to watch Foxcatcher because Carell is mostly a comedic actor and Foxcatcher is a more dramatic film.
This was mindy Kalings first movie
The action figure that you thought was an Austin Powers figure is actually, Steve Austin from the tv series "The Six Million Dollar man" from the 1970's. Steve Austin was played by Lee Majors who also played in an 80's series " The Fall guy."
the way way back is a heartwarming film.
YOU HAVE DONE IT ASIA, IT'S FROM ( ASIA ) LOLOLOL! THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT 😊
the absolutely appalled look on asias face for the drunk driving seen is too much lmao
Catherine Keener was also in "Being John Malkovich" among many other independent
movies.
Love it! Need to get you a Dallas Stars cap!
No words, just laughter! How do I like this 1,000 times?
