Finally a video that explains it clearly visually and verbally. Thank you candle lady! Greetings 🇲🇽
Thank you so much for the helpful video! I appreciated the many helpful details you shared- you are the first person I’ve seen mention the importance of fragrance ratio, making sure your oils are candle safe, as well as issues with cooling. I am grateful I watched before trying for the first time! Going to go try that now :) ❤
Good to see ya! Hope all is well ....
Im a candle maker and love this video!!
This is so great. Oven is really helpful.
I think you'll have better luck with cracking if you add 5% coconut wax to your beeswax. Coconut is a softer wax which creates a candle wax blend that's more pliable, without sacrificing the long burn times of beeswax. You may also find better results with glass containers which will be a better buffer between wax and room temp; metal containers provide no insulating buffer at all.
Also, you can save energy by putting the beeswax in the freezer for a few hours, and then use a hammer and screwdriver or chisel to whack off however much you need to melt. The lower temperature makes the beeswax quite brittle, so it will break easily with one or two blows. No need to have the oven on for an hour, when your freezer is maintaining temp all day long.
Hello, I use local beeswax and coconut wax but still have issues with cracking, however, I heard coconut oil is really helpful so I'm going to try that. Apparently 1/2 cup coconut oil with 1lb wax.
I love your stove ❤
Your wax is to hot when putting in the fragrance 160-165. And pour wax when its about 150°, use a double boiler to melt wax, oven is to hot.
Do these candles tunnel a lot? The wick size doesn’t look large enough for the jar. Thanks for the video
How did you clean the wax out of the measuring cup?
I'd use a heat gun or boiling water and let it cool and scoop the hard wax out. Don't put the wax down the sink.
At what point do you add essential oil?
At the end when the wax is nearly cooled but still moldable.Because if before it kills its aroma
Being a candle maker myself i certainly do not agree with whats said here... on many levels.
If you don't specify your point, how is anyone going to understand what you mean? Also, if you don't agree with her that's completely fine, but why this nonsense comment? You don't even have any content in your channel. At least she is trying. I absolutely loved her video!
I'm also a professional candle maker, and that's ridiculous..... this video is accurate and lovely!
@@djulyaferraz4351 Your right I shouldn't have said this my apologies
