Sry but "bandage cancel" is not a good reason to waste 2 slot of set items. 2p new set + 2p vithu + 4p baron is imba, try it :) More dmg + longer CC + longer bile/viper duration. Srry Apollyon but wearing grace set if you have 1 damage source is pointless...
@@stasinio0 4piece Grace's additional hit can cancel the healing of other players. I have Viper and Bile, and I'm using a Slow Time helm that increases its tick rate by 60%. So players who get caught in CC and try to heal often have their healing stopped and even die. You can also go with a four-piece Baron and use whatever works best for your playstyle.
Second off hand you can use also the imobilization from that primary attack, and as it chains, it can stop more people in place, an extra CC in the build. You forgot to mention that Arcane Wind essence is now also on 2x charge by itself, and with it's essences awakened, it's a bit 'overkill to up it to 3 charges, since you'll have 2x charges on 4-5s CD, just need to know where to drop each. The imobilization from Primary on the off hand also has a lower internal cd, if I'm not mistaken (only every 3s, but imobilizes by ~2s baseline). You can use it when someone tries to get close, teleport and AW on him/her.
Im using same build but with desintegrate on your back shoulder essence, reduced damage on desintegrate on pants, increase range desintegrate on main weapon. no slow time head, instead invisibility on teleport. Works really good against tempest, at least you can do some damage and survive a bit better with reduced damage

I picked Baron for extra 20% dmg, but soon I reached so many kills and wins I got stuck into a high CR BGs, where it's more useful for me extend the CC with 4 endwinter; too bad when a FROZEN 9K CR tempest hits me for 400k with a single Flowing Strike -.-!
I am having an easy time with Tempests now. You need to use the new Primary Dagger, Chest piece, and the 4 piece new secondary gear. The goal is to slow Tempest. Once slowed you can then freeze quite often using these, then finish them off using Scorch. Their Invulnerability only lasts a few sec, constant casting your Scorch will catch them when their shied wears. Using Desentigrate and Arcane Torrent as your other damages,
With your current build, can you try out the harbinger dash build for pvp if you have the points to spend. It looks interesting especially since using teleport for dash.
I'm not a tempest either...playing monk. After playing tempest, it helped me rethink how I was playing monk. Monk is NOT A DEAD CLASS. People just don't know how to theory craft.
Why not use Feasting Baron? Isnt it buffing the freeze duration? Or is grace just better? Dont get me wrong i like grace, i am just trying to figure best green setup.
Haven't really paid attention to all the curse gear, but would it be worth it to get rid of lashed since you are mainly using skills? Great build and synergy you got going on.
Which Legendary Gems are you using Apollyon? I am wondering if you are using the StormVault and Roiling Consequence combo to get your FireStorm Proc...

Low resonance Tempest can't penetrate the CCs of stronger Wizards. You can dash past but there's always a DH nearby and your dead.

Both can be used. I use grace because of my gem setup and chance to cancel players HP healing with additional hit from grace.
Chip of the stone flesh is very very good for this cause freeze is lost of control
Ok but why using the chest essence for freezing enemies and also using the off hand essence for freezing enemies again ? Isn’t 1 only enough
Chest need you to get critical to get freeze, so I combine its chill with off hand and get instant freeze.
