Hi! I`m a beginner sewer and I have bought this pattern a while ago, I`m glad it wasn`t too difficult! It turned out so beautiful, and it fit you perfectly. What would yoy say the sizing is like compared to other clothes and patterns you´re familiar with? I always end up making my clothes too big!
I still struggle with making my clothes too big as well!! I’ve only been sewing for a year so still trying to learn everything. 😂This one isn’t quite as forgiving in the waist because of the more fitted portion, so I would say make your usual size in that! I’m no expert by any means in the sizing department as I am still learning! I ended up making a size 8 for reference and I have a 33 bust and a 30/31 inch waist! I did have to make the top portion a bit bigger so hindsight I probably should have made the 10 but I made it work! Hope that helps and happy sewing to you!! 🎀

I do have 4 yards of Robert Kaufman Vintage Garden Cotton Lawn in Tan from Hart's Fabric that I think could work well? It actually reminds me of your fabric quite a bit. I was going to use it for the Lyra dress from Tilly and the Buttons that I saw Cleo Williams here on UA-cam make, but I don't think I have enough to do that project. I think you'd enjoy her channel as well;) I LOVE that you did covered buttons!@@taytumhubert
