Really cool vid man. I tried to dabble in streetwear after I got into sneakers like Jordans and it just didn’t feel like my style. I dabble in Americana as well but I like the Jcrew style a bit more! I’m really digging Japanese takes on American clothing as well.
The fabric that Carhartt uses on their trouser that you were wearing is called duct cotton. It feels tough and not very comfortable compared to what they in Europe and Norway.

I find it weird that people will completely steal the aesthetic of someone like a blue collar worker because they don’t care about fashion they’re just wearing stuff for functionality but someone who doesn’t work with their hands will come along and act like it’s something new. Like the guy with no fashion sense who doesn’t care at all is the one who is are setting the trends.

Workwear gear has very underrated construction, their built for longevity ( most of the time) people who want a timeless closet should get into work wear, they’d be pleasantly surprised at the quality compared to some mid to high end brands.
