Personally, I prefer a pouch to be thin, so it's not already a brick before I put stuff into it. The velcro for a patch adds needless bulk and a patch is just going to catch on your pocket.
They need to be built for the contents. I have a Maxpedition pouch that has space for lots of gear but don't the required thickness so rather than packing flat it packs with a big lump in the middle.
I like the Maxpedition Pocket Organizers better. I personally carry a Micro with all the essentials and tools I may need for my environment.
It would be nice if it were RFID rated, then it would be perfect.
@Xi Vonoc i think CJ means if it was rfid protected, you could store your cellphone in there when you wanted to not be tracked, simply turning it off doesn’t work.
You are more likely to get your info stolen at a machine rather then in your pocket
Line it with tin foil.
Buy card protector sleeves or use tin foil,job done.
It's a tacti-cool females clutch purse ! Solid pass !! EDC gear is getting ridiculous nowadays. It's more of a fashion statement / men's pocket jewelry over actually utility. Anything for a quick dollar. A pouch, for your bag, inside your pull out pouch, for the backpack, inside the zipper disconnect, that folds up into something to put in your pocket. Plus you can just go old school and hang it off of another pouch. Or hang if from a Nalgene water bottle if your feeling extra frisky. Get outta here. Ridiculous. It reminds me of the guys that deck their backpacks out with inserts & pouches inside their bags & it ends up taking up half of the space / liters. Excessive is a real thing.. Excessive EDC for a fashion statement is a real thing too.
I use a small maxpedition pouch to carry a small selection of things everyday so this is interesting.

FYI - If you want a full black, tactical look, then take a black sharpie and color over the manufacturer tag hanging off of the pouch. Of course, you could always just cut it off, but everyone has their preference.

Looks to me like this pouch is more geared toward EDC or around town type stuff, vs the Maxpedition maybe more toward camping. No idea why some kind of fire kit or something for camping would have credit card slots.
Guess no one wants to secure this with a belt?

I want to like this...I really do. It just seems rather limited with half of it designed for cards. Also, the price seems a bit high given the prices of most of their other products. Still, it would be a decent important documents container for the bug-out or get-home bag.
I love your channel, but.... I have seen alot of EDC kits reviewed here. Thinking back, I wonder if there is any real sense or plan to them. It seems as if there are so many changes and such, that you would never know what you had with you in your EDC.
I usually carry my wallet, a multi-tool, and lip balm on me and then when I go out I throw my stuffed Maxpedition mini pocket organizer near the cup holder or center console. I definitely take it with me if I'm staying overnight somewhere or going on vacation. It gives me EDC+ by adding those "nice to haves". I see the picofire less as an alternative to that and more as something for people that know they should carry an EDC knife but don't or know they should carry a flashlight but don't. They can have the picofire as a wallet + those other EDC items all in one.

If you put one in each back pocket it probably would be great to add extra padding for those who are natural padding deficient lol. 😂

No belt loops were a big mistake. Too big for a pocket and much better attached to your belt.

I picked up a few - really nicely made. The one thing I don’t like is the stiff plastic “card “ and padding between the outside shell and the inside pockets. If your looking for a pouch that has some protective qualities- it’s good. I’m sticking with maxped micro.
I will stay with my little back pack ( my kids eighth grade back pack-12 years ago). Thanks for the gear review.

Great idea! I just bought one for my car. I keep an extra small wallet in my car for health insurance cards, rewards cards, and extra credit cards/cash for emergency. This will be perfect for that!

They're nice just wish they had a belt loop on one side or a more substantial loop on top but I guess one can be fanagled.
Meh. I'll stick with Maxpedition pouches for my needs. I think it would be a big mistake using this for a wallet and no RFID blocking these days.

It's a tacti-cool, clutch type purse. Solid pass on that disaster. Very awkward size too for edc without a bag unless you do the "bag, inside a bag, inside a backpack" deal. I think poop scooter is trying to upsell something to viewers that's very gimmicky..
